New Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Fighters Announced

At the New York Comic Con, Capcom has revealed that Nathan Spencer from Bionic Commando and Sir Arthur from Ghosts 'N Goblins will be joining the fray! Also, the plot has been explained and alternate Spider-man costumes were shown.

Personally, my first reaction to the news was one of confusion. I didn't know Mister Spencer or Sir Arthur had enough popularity amongst the masses to warrant his own place amongst the roster, but hopefully they'll prove to be worthy additions.

Nathan Spencer is a bit 'meh' to me, but I think Sir Arthur is from a popular enough classic to warrant his appearance, though he's been mainly restricted to assist roles in the previous games IIRC.

I wouldn't be surprised if Venom was announced. Another returning character...an X-man? Maybe Cyclops? Or Storm?

As for a new character, I have no idea, I don't really know a lot of Marvel characters (more about the Capcom for me).

My reactions? Rad Spencer!?! Awesome!!! ... oh, it's the remake version... oh well, still pretty awesome. I just hope they change his 2P costume into his original 8bit style outfit.

Arthur is someone I don't really care for personally, but I do think it's pretty cool he's in the game. Other than there being 2 RE characters when there really only should have been one given the predicted roster size, the Capcom side is shaping up very nicely with interesting and unique characters.

Still no Strider though :/ It looks like Wesker and X-23 may have some of his play style so it's not all bad if he doesn't make it in, but I'm still hoping he makes the cut.

Unless you happen to be well-versed in either universe, you won't have a fucking clue who half the characters are.

But hell, as soon as I hear a release date, I'm gonna reserving this just like everyone else. Now Capcom just has to give me Blade or Storm on the Marvel side or Gene or (preferably) Kyosuke on their own side and I won't lob bricks of frozen Crisco at their offices.

Most people think the 2 new Marvel characters that are going to be announced are MODOK, and Magneto. And I myself like these additions though I dont know either character that well.

X-23 looks like she fits my playstyle to me. Magneto seems very likely, as does Storm, seeing how popular they were in MvC2.

Sorry, but Niitsuma(the head of the people working on MvC3) already said back at the San Diago ComicCon that it was already too late in the development cycle for any new characters to be added, and Phoenix Wright or any other Ace Attorney characters weren't on the list =S

Nick Fury, Daredevil, Luke Cage, The Punisher, and several more. I can understand Super Skrull was a cop-out to not put in the FF.

As long as Megaman is in (which he will be), and bring Frank West or Chuck Greene with West's moveset from TvC, Capcom has everyone I want. Except Strider...
