Haven't paid for any bioware DLC yet. I think I will wait for the CD (ala fallout 3) and get all of it grouped together. cheap.

Other than it looking cool, I don't really see the point in it, hence I won't be buying it.
Doesn't help that my xbox wiped all my save games. =(
Yes that's right, not only my mass effect 2 data, but my mass effect 1 data. So one day, I will have to go back and do both. Not necessarily a bad thing either.

This and almost all other DLC is a complete waste of money. I think the only company to ever bring out decent DLC is Bethesda as they were actual expansions. If Bioware gave an expansion to ME2 and actually added stuff instead of 3 items it would good but 3 items to make the game slightly easier? You are basically playing to use game cheats and they aren't even full cheats.

160 MS points is less than $3 over her in Oz. I don't see any reason not to by it, nor do I see any reason why people think it is woth debating over.

Edi kind of looks like a wierd vibrator.
Me and my sister figured EDI looks more like a talking vagina than anything else.

It is not totally pointless, as it does have some actual value in-game. But this is another example of Bioware nickel-and-diming people in an effort to make more money.

Why is everyone complaining about this?

First off: It's 160 MS points. Seriously.

Secondly: It's cosmetic. This DLC release isn't trying to be a big expansion. It's just a fun, small release to provide a little extra 'stuff' for those who want it. It doesn't change the plot, nobody is 'losing' anything by not getting it, and those who are willing to pay for it are getting what they pay for.

And I also don't get this hate or unhappiness about Kasumi. Yeah, the actual mission is only an hour or so, but you get a new character to use for the entire game. She doesn't have a romance option, or as deep conversation options as other 'core' characters, but she does have a bad-ass ability and is pretty handy to have around in a fight. So, really, if you use her the whole game, you've got about 30 hours worth of changed, if not new, content.

I just don't understand people complaining about DLC that isn't trying to be a huge grand thing. They aren't over-charging and it's totally optional. There is no 'canon' sensitive material you're missing out on here if you don't get it. So why are people complaining?

You aren't 'owed' this content. The game is fully complete without it. So why complain?
If it's not for you, it's not for you...but to complain? I don't get it.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

This DLC doesn't add anything new to the story or History of Mass effect. Its a little thing that adds a couple of items. Nothing more. You don't need to buy it to enjoy an amazing 40+ hour game.

As for me, I may get it eventually.

dammit if they didnt try to nickel and dime me by making me buy 'points' id be happy to spend on the DLC. I mean is it so hard to just straight up charge me like what Valve does with Steam?! Pisses me off that they make u waste your money by buying more 'points' than the product your trying to purchase! for that i simply refuse to buy the DLC.

Well I'm not going to get this, but it doesn't change my opinion of Mass Effect 2 or Bioware (among my favorite games and developers, respectively). I just don't like helmets because I want to be able to see Shep's face.

Well to be honest I made the thread more as an announcement that they had released new DLC more than anything.

Disappointed. Those small DLCs are annoying. I wanna see some big expansions like for DA.
No. Not even that. I want them to focus on Mass Effect 3, rather than bringing out this - sorry to offend anyone - useless crap.

Considering the very little effort required to make this stuff, I sincerely doubt they are stopping the lead designers/creators of Mass Effect 3 from working on the upcoming game in order to be making it.

You're right, of course not. Even though it is minimal effort involved, it still could be used for something else. These Mini-DLCs are not useful, they do not add anything relevant to the game and they are completely pointless. Mass Effect 2 isn't focused on items, so why is Bioware giving a fuck and releasing new ones? I have nothing against DLCs and I understand, that they are somehow the 'future', but come on. This is not a DLC, this is no different from an Item Shop and that's just not appropiate for this game.
Well. That said, I am not really angry about it. It's just so pointless, I don't want to waste emotions on this topic.

I will admit I am disappointed, but seeing as these are optional (optional and not keeping anything from the player) I have no issue with them. I do hope they bring out a full length DLC sometime soon though, something that'll bring me back to the game for a few more hours at the very least.

I'd like them to continuously add conversations for team members, not as DLC but along with DLC whenever they release it. Especially for romance options, it is very odd to have Tali say the same thing she said prior to "unmasking" her over and over again.

The funny thing is the Iferno armor was part of pre-order bonus already. Guess they will start re-releasing the bonus packs now for a price for those that missed it early on <.<

Oh well. There is good DLC and there is lacking DLC. This i consider slightly lacking but moslty because i did pre0order collecitoners edition just to get more of those at launch. The plus side of such dLCs is the fact im not forced to buy them to actually expierience the game fully.

well 160ms points is like what ? 2$ that's pocket change...but they could have put that in the cerberus network imo...

They look nice enough, they just don't really add anything meaningful to the game, i'm not getting it, not for the price but just because it's borderline useless...

I paid for Kasumi and even though i think they cut corners i don't regret buying it because it actually added something to the game, i won't pay for 3 cosmetic items even if it's 2$ though.

Oh yeah, these gagdets...

Well, they look alright, but this shouldn't even be a DLC. This is something you give for free, or if anything else, something avaliable through the Cerberus Network system. I will not pay for this, no way. BioWare can call me again when they release a good story based DLC like "Bring down the sky". That DLC was awesome.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Bioware sucks at making DLC. Like, really sucks.

Their best DLC was "The Stone Prisoner" and it was free with new copies of Dragon Age. And even then, I'd never have PAID for it.
