Wait...Rogue AI...rescuing Jack...what...h...g...hasn't this been done before? 0_o True, the concept of the fused Human/AI is somewhat interesting, but if I'd just stopped at the end of that second paragraph I'd swear you were talking about content from Mass Effect 2 on it's release.

He was - that paragraph was describing the content in the demo, not the new DLC - the demo features (of course) content from the retail release of Mass Effect 2, so that's why it seems so familiar. Only the rogue AI bit is describing new content.

Ahh, I get it...I apologise for my utter comprehension failure. ^^'

Aren't they a bit... late, with that demo?

I imagine everyone who's been interested in ME2 has already bought it by now...

Not true. I'm interested, but I've been reticient. What if it's no fun, what if it doesn't work on my computer, what if...a demo is always good, whether it's released before or after the game itself. Not everyone jumps at the thing the moment it comes out, unless you know it's quality. Downloading the demo now, and then we'll see if Bioware gets mah moneh or not :)

If I hadn't played Mass Effect 2 so much I am bored of it I'd be getting this straight away. As such I reckon I will give it a few months before picking it up, it's not like the price will go up.

Ah. More shitty DLC. Honestly...I'm not getting this. Every other Bioware DLC I ever bought felt like a huge rip off. This doesn't seem any different. 5 areas could just be five rooms of shooting with loading screens in between, anyway.
Why do you feel the need to go into every single thread about Bioware DLC just to state you hate it? Don't you have anything better to do? Oh, and don't try the "If I did I wouldn't be on the internet" crap.

I'm confused, why would fans of ME 2 be interested in a demo of parts of the game they have already played?

On the DLC, I miss expansion packs. This concept sounds worth far more than 5 new area's.
