New Mass Effect 2 'Overlord' DLC

The next bit of premium ME2 DLC is on its way next month. It is called Overlord, and wont have any new squad members or new characters at all

Instead its going to focus on a VI going crazy and teaming up with the Geth to take over Cerberus bases. Shepard of course, is tasked with saving the day once again. The Hammerhead may be featured, and supposedly it will be less linear than previous DLC missions. Seems like an OK idea for a DLC, its adding 2 new achivements, 5 new areas, and I'm hoping it will include this set of mystery armour [http://na.llnet.bioware.cdn.ea.com/u/f/eagames/bioware/masseffect2/resources/assets/universe/weapons/screenshots/arc_projector-02-p.jpg] too.

The last DLC (Kasumi) was friggin' awesome so I'm hoping this is in the same vein, but from the screenshots and description its kind of hard to tell if it isnt just more of the same. Not that more of the same is a bad thing, but something special would be nice

So what do all you Mass Effect fans think? Sound promising, or just another run of the mill DLC with little to set it apart?

Yeah, revision for exams has sadly taken precedent over game-related stuff so I havnt been as up-to-date as I should be

Thanks for the link, all that info and interview goodness pretty much makes my post obselete, but hey

It really does sound good, the way they've implemented the Hammerhead sounds great, and the story sounds very involving. Glad that it's going to take several hours to finish as well! Can't wait

A bit gutted that theres no new toys to play with, but I guess we've had plenty of that with previous DLC, so it's a worthwhile sacrafice for some DLC with a more compelling story and extended gameplay

I suspect there will be more item DLC packs in the future. Overlord sounds really awesome as a story based DLC. I can't wait till it comes out.

oh yeah, for sure there will be. They've pretty much said so.

And yeah he has actully met her. To be honest he's a bit of a douche now, but he was OK in school.
