Bioware just officially announced the Rebellion DLC, today showing off more new features than I expected they would. For one thing, there is a new objective to be added to the game as well as a new gear spot for players in addition to the new characters, maps, and weapons.
Personally I'm quite happy with the announcement, I'd have been happy with the new characters and weapons but it seems to me that this dlc (along with the special condition of the latest Multiplayer operation, Shieldwall) is trying to add just a little more variety to the game. I'm personally looking forward to the Vorcha, I've always found them weirdly fascinating, plus I'm sure quite a few fans of Kal'Reegar will be pleased. Did not see the Ex-Cerberus coming during the rumors about the dlc and the revelation of the "Phoenix" Adepts and Vanguards and, while I'm a little sad that they are not Protheans, some of the abilities sound interesting.
So, what do you all think of this? Good addition? Cheap PR stunt? Something in between or altogether different?
