Still looks like an unrelated game, which didn't project enough sales, that got the Max Payne logo tacked on so it would make more money.
Maybe this game has a good original story and great gameplay, but the fact that they call it Max Payne when it's obviously not it puts the game in a very negative light in my opinion.
It's like they would make a game called Doom 4 and it would be about the guy from Doom 3 who got back to earth and gets shipped to fight in the middle east.
On a side note, the animation is very not lifelike in comparison to modern games.

I'm still unsure if how Noir this will be.
LA NOIRE showed me two things about rockstars' approach to Noir.
1. They know so little about it that they mispelled it in the fucking title.
2. They are perfectly willing to utterly abandon any pretence toward noir in the final act because enourmous gun battles and running through sewers with a freaking flamethrower is more fun.

Wouldn't that be the fault of Team Bondi though since they were the ones who developed L.A. Noire. I thought Rock Star only published it.

Apparantly Team Bondi's vision of the game was quite a bit different from what Rockstar wanted the game to be, so Rockstar enforced some pretty big design changes upon Bondi. It's reportedly one of the reasons behind the falling out between Team Bondi and rockstar
