I just don't like the name, the movie was ... decent, and as far as set ups go, it's a pretty big and good one, but the name is wrong. I'm going for Loxley. I like that as the title. Hell he wasn't even Robin "Hood" in the movie. Anyone else?

I liked the movie, and the name will have sold the movie to alot of people so you might aswell keep it. It should have been called "Robin Begins"

Can't wait for "Robin: The Green Knight"

Here in Britian, we like to keep the names of our mythical heroes the same.

No Max Power, or G.I. Joe bullshit here.

going to see it in a couple of hours, this thread is great, it says "hey robin hood is a great movie" while giving a slight hint of "this movie has nothing to do with robin hood".

At least now I'm prepared to burn my cash, thanks dudes.

I was going to see it the other day, but was forced to go waste my life in Iron Man 2. So how different was this Robin Hood from other interpretations?

As different as apples and chainsaws. You really have to see this movie with a clear head if you want to enjoy it though. I did, but it was easy for me having not seen any old robin hood movies in full.
The only version I've seen is this piece of nostalgia.
Have they taken him the "dark and angsty" route?

It was a movie about Robin Hood. The character was referred to as 'Robin of the Hood'.

Calling it something else would be silly.
Just like Moviebob's opinions.

Personally, as far as that new movie goes I think that people who don't know a fucking thing about our folk heros, or who want to rewrite them to fit some poxy script idea should leave shit they don't understand alone.

Scott needs to learn the difference between fact, fiction and folk hero.
