New Ninja Gaiden Games A Possibility?

Let me outline the thought process of the people that thought this was a good idea:

Spoiler: Bad ideas, now in action!

Exec 1: "Well, we alienated the guy that made this series, and before he left he declared that it was over. What do we do?"

Exec 2: "Ohhh, I smell a dead franchise! Time to hump the corpse!"

Exec 3: *funny noises* "Waaaaay ahead of you!"

Being serious: I predict massive failure. But who knows? Maybe it'll be ok. Only time will tell.

Seriously I don't get all of you.
I mean, it's Ninja Gaiden for fucks Sake!!
It's all about slicing things up.There isn't anything more to it.No deep story, no real Puzzles, no intresting Characters.Just Ryu Hayabusa doing Ninja stuff.
Seriously how could that formula be ruined?
Of course if the guys at Tecmo go ahead and say:"Fuck fun,were going to specialize in Snuff-Porn" I could understand your point.
But as long as it's kill everything you see while looking cool,I think were safe.

Not saying anything against the quality of the game, but the game wasn't good enough that it stands as testement to the creators genius. The fact that all anyone knows about it is the prevalence of boobies and thighs in inverse proportion to brains and usefulness in female characters in all his games is testament to that fact. The guy is not David Jaffe.

I liked the mindless Hack n' Slash gameplay. Therefor, I enjoyed Ninja Gaiden 2.

And I don't think that anyone else then Tomonobu Itagaki can do it the same way.

But! That is just my opinion. If all you see is boobies, have it your way. DOn't play the game but and let us who wants to play the game do it.

Ninja Gaiden didn't have a deep storyline because it was on the goddamn NES. And even for an NES game it had an interesting story setup- your father dies at the start of the game, you go to america to get revenge, recruit the help of a reporter to do so, and take down a criminal empire TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD.

Ninja Gaiden on the Xbawx just goes OMG DEMONS AND TITS.

I'm all for another Ninja Gaiden game if they make it fun to play instead of balls on hard for the sake of it. Course I havn't played it yet
