So, I'm getting a new phone tomorrow (Possibly later. I beat my spine up pretty bad today. May be immobile come Saturday). I planned on getting an HTC Evo to replace my train wreck of a Samsung (A Moment, possibly the worst none RIM phone in existence).
However, while I was checking the Evo out at the Sprint store, I found a new phone, the HTC Arrive, Sprints first Windows 7 phone.
After fiddling with it for 5 minutes, I was impressed. It was smooth, had a keyboard (Something I was going to miss) and connected to XBox live (Something which I'm curious in. Not sure if it will go anywhere). On top of all that, I am a shameless Microsoft fanboy (Yeah, I know, a lonely crowd).
But there's only so much you can learn about a phone in store, so I was wondering if anyone out there had messed with, or owns, a Windows 7 phone. If you do, can you tell me your thoughts? Does the have the capacity to run head to head with a top tier Android (No iPhone suggestions please, I am not switching carriers).
Everyone's free to share there thoughts on any other possible purchases as well, and there thoughts on the Evo (Evo 4G, not the Shift).
Keep in mind, this is my Birthday present to, so please help.
