So in the Nintendo Direct broadcast for E3 it was revealed that a new type was being introduced to the Pokemon universe.
The Fairy Type
Sylveon, the new Eevee evolution, was a confirmed to be a fairy type, as well as Gardevoir, Jigglypuff and Marill. It's going to be super-effective against Dragon types.
So what does everyone think of this?
Personally I'm fairly indifferent to the whole thing. However fairy does seem like a weird choice when put up against the other types, to me it doesn't seem to fit very well. Something else that hit dragons is good since I think there are only two types that are super-effective against it. And I don't really understand why old Pokemon have to be retconned, especially Marill.
Also there was a new Pokemon revealed in the trailer.
It's name is being reported as Vivilion but I don't know if that is it's Japanese name, it's English name or maybe both.
