So, this would be my first non-dice RP, and so far the general story I have somewhat roughed out involves the players as assassins in the far-ish future (date I have so far is 2033).
There are three types I have so far that branch out into seperate specializations (for a better guideline for char creation)
<spoiler=polymetal>
Polymetals are basically intelligent liquid metal and circuitry, they're able to assume other identities and reform their bodies. (yes, it's basically the T1000 from terminator) they are technically Neuter but they can have a preffered form and thus a preffered gender, their major weakness is that it takes time to recover any lost mass and extreme heat and certain sound frequencies cause them to lose structure.
specializations
Ranger:specializes in weaponizing its body into ranged weapons (and ammunition)
Brawler:specializes in close-range weaponization
Tank:best with defense(Shields, armor, walls, ETC)
Shifter:has honed it's shape-shifting abilities to the point that it can absorb someone's skills and memories along with their appearance
Nanomancers have specialized tattoos (they act as the command paramaters for the nanomechs) infused with nanotech allowing them rather amazing feats(telekinesis (sort of), matter creation/destruction, elemental control) however at the same time using the nanomechs in excess causes strain on the body and without enough training a large feat can cause burnout, leading to the nanomancer losing conciousness
specializations
Fire:this is self explanatory, they're able to create and manipulate fire through the use of their nanobots
Ice:able to freeze objects/people (the latter requires quite a bit of concentration and thus is incredibly difficult to do when actively engaged in combat)
Electricity:this type equips the nanobots with what are essentially small tazers that, when used in a large enough quantity, can cause a nasty shock
Earth:with this modification the nanobots are turned into terraforming specialists, able to build up and destroy the ground. (the larger the task the harder it is and the longer it takes, so destroying a building would be rather hard to do without being noticed)
Former(name is a work in progress):able to create objects by deconstructing things around them, including other beings, however this takes quite a bit of time and causes quite a bit of pain to the person being deconstructed thus the nanomancer is likely to be discovered if he attempts this in the vicinity of other enemies
Multi-type:allows uses of multiple tattoos, however the more tattoos the weaker the element is or the easier it is for the nanomancer to get burnt out.
<spoiler=human>
This is...pretty self explanatory, it's a human.
specializations
Weaponmaster:Able to pick up and use any weapon due to a nanochip implanted in their brain which downloads the information from all available sources
Hacker:able to crack any computer security system and able to directly connect with any robots (outside of polymetals), however they aren't the strongest and rely heavily on ranged combat and tampering with electrical systems or automated defences to take down their enemies.
Shade:use stealth field generators and natural acrobatics to get where they need to be quickly and quietly, very skilled with short bladed weapons and sniper rifles.
What do you think of what i've got so far?
