New Step for Gaming

What do you think will be the next big thing in gaming? i.e the next big gimmick, console or game type.

Personally I think soon Apple will enter the console war.

Where you're playing a cover-based shooter and every time you kill a guy, a kitten licks your face.

Virtual Reality of course we may be waiting a while like a few hundred years but its coming people.

Or maybe they start shipping consoles with a decent sized hard drive that may help push their digital sales (also they need to drop prices by 50 percent or more) anyway 1TB hard drives please Sony and Microsoft.
