Well, just to give some news. Finally restarted, For now finish undead burg, just got drake sword, so got my str to use it and I dnon't think I'll be getting it higher. Founded that scimitar is just to cool to play with, so I'll be lvling it to +10 to transform it later to the furysword. Will surely get a balder's side sword to +15 later. I think I'll stick to pure dex for now, with leveling pyromancies I the first playthrough. For now I'll get my end to 20, get havel's ring and forget it till alter, then pump into dex and some vit in case I mess up.

My mind is setted to get to this kind of final build at lvl 120 more or less :

Vit 25
End 30
Attunement 18
Str 16
Dex 40-45
Int : 40
Faith 12-14

Light gear, going enchanted scimitar /balder's +5.
Seems like a quality build. 16 strength is going to allow you to use every dex weapon in the game. Personally I'd probably put some more points into vitality and endurance though. It's nice to be able to max out your stamina (need to get endurance to level 40 for that), but it's not absolutely necessary.

The scimitar is actually kind of a crap weapon though (it has the worst stats out of all the curved swords). The falchion is better than the scimitar in every single way, and since it's also a curved sword you can use it to make the qualogg fury sword just like you intended with the scimitar. Also, while a lot of people swear by the balder side sword I personally prefer just the standard long sword. They have pretty much the same stats, but I like the long sword's move-set better. The long sword has a really good combo where you do a thrust and follow it with an upward slash that's absolutely devastating because it goes through shields. Balder side sword has better dexterity scaling, so it's really up to you which sword to use.

I'd also recommend either some medium armor, or using the wolf ring to get yourself some poise. Light armor doesn't give you any poise, and it's an extremely useful stat to have if you don't want to get stun-locked into oblivion when fighting groups of enemies. If you're also planning on using Havel's ring you might as well go with some medium armor because it should still be fairly easy to stay under 25% equipment load at 30 endurance and you'll be significantly less squishy.

Good, I'll look into that. I have all the time to figure what weapon suits me better, I'll go for havel's and medium to get some poise. Thanks for the tips ;)

Here's a lesser known fact about dark souls that can help you in blighttown:

If you use dung pie to make yourself toxic the toxic damage done by the dung pies is less than the toxic damage done by the blow dart guys, and once you're toxic the blow dart guys cannot make you more toxic. This means that you can immunize yourself from the blow dart guys by using dung pies. This is SUPER useful in the spot where you get the firekeeper's soul in blighttown.

Also, just so you know, the area immediately after blighttown has gear that gives you really high poison resistance. Because really, why not give it to you once you no longer need it right? But if you really want to explore blighttown it's a good idea to go fight the boss as soon as possible, kill her, go to the demon ruins, get the gold-hemmed black set , and come back, it gives you 240 poison resistance (and also good resistance against fire and bleed), which is high enough that you can run across the swamp without getting poisoned if you stop to rest on the little islands of dirt.

Your pyromancy starter set upgraded to +3 gives some of the best poison resist for early game. If you add the poison resist ring you can buy from the guy in the bell tower lower Blighttown is not so bad.

Also you can pick up the Shadow set in upper blighttown that also has pretty good poison/toxic resists. I would also really recommend that you get the rusted iron ring from the Undead Asylum since moving quickly through lower blighttown is a plus.

Edit: The spider shield from the Depths makes it so you can completely block all posion from the blowdart asswipes.

Thanks for the tips, forgot about the spider shield, the blowdart fu**** are the worst so that will definity help a lot. I'll look into that as soon as I can play again (we all like power supplies blowing up lol)
