i recently discovered this site and it seems pretty cool. Being new, can someone fill me in on some of the stuff the community or someone new should know. greatly appreciated.

Be polite, good mannered, spell and punctuate correctly and you will go far.
Some searchbar elitists will give you a hard time but quite frankly, I see the same stupid threads being made each week, so ignore them, they can't hurt you by punching their screen anyway.
