Welcome to the Escapist, we'd appreciate if you didn't feed trolls, oh and stay out of the basement.
Hey, welcome to the Escapist. Nothing you really need to know. Just prepare for plenty of stay out of the basement responses.

Well, first you should recieve a welcome post from someone. I'll proably do it if no one else does.
Community is fantastic. Everyone is friendly and usually nice. Just don't be a dick and follow the rules (if you have not dones so I would do that, people get put on probation before they know it sometimes) and you will make friends. Do not anger the mods, they have no regrets with throwing the hammer around, in fact show them some respect if needed. They do such a great job here as you can see with the lack of trolls.
If you are looking for something or some specific group in our community try checking out the user groups for what you are looking for.
Enjoy your stay here and and stay out of the basement.
