Hello, welcome to the escapist stay out of the basement and you'll be just fine.

escapist pro tips: stay out of the R&P forum that place is not a fun place to be, avoid the low content posts (IE posts of about 5 words or less) a lot of newbies get caught in that trap, BEWARE the mods they're everywhere and they love to use their banhammer of justice.

Other than that don't troll or feed the trolls and don't be a dick.

I like JRPGs, not the western stuff so much.

My sex life... I do alright for myself. I tried to upload an avatar but it doesn't appear to have worked. EDIT: oh, there it goes.

I enjoy many different genres. JRPGs, sports, some shooters, a few sandbox games. The only genres I actively avoid are RTS, MMORPGs, and hacky slashy titles.

I enjoy Final Fantasy. I started at 7 and it is my all time favorite game. I still play it from time to time. 8 was fantastic, didn't care for 9, I am currently playing through X again. I tried to play Dragon Quest 8 but couldn't really get into it. I also tried Blue Dragon on the 360 but it didn't work for me either. I want to try the Shin Megami Tensei series, or at least the Digital Devil Saga games. I have a hard time justifying $30 on a 7 year old game though. I also want to try Resonance Of Fate.

I recommend you try Persona 4. It is amazing. And RPGs tend to age better than other genres. I heard DDS was awesome.

I know I've been beaten to the question, but are there any particular types of games you enjoy? Might be able to toss you a few recommendations/games depending on what sort of genre you prefer.
