This is the fifth or so thread about this, people really need to start searching, someone posted one and an hour or so later I failed and posted another one since I had searched for it 2 hours before, and there's been another 3 or 4 since then.

Yeah now that you mentioned it is the first one.
Though it still uses the sourceengine and you still shoot, but i guess we have to be patient with valve.

Blatent rip off of Alien Breed much?

Alien swarm was first released as an Ut mod in 2004, so its a bit older than the 2009 Alien Breed.
Unless you mean the 1991 game, but that was a 2d game so it's hardly a ripoff.
Your still right though, they look very similar

While normally I wouldn't look twice the fact it said free makes me think I'll give it a try. Even if it's terrible I won't have lost money.

What I was hoping this would be is a Big new valve project being announced, on the scale of half life/left for dead.
