Fair enough. I haven't played New Vegas in awhile (I was burnt out after 3 straight playthroughs) so my memory is a bit foggy.

Still, the Good karma ending for Legion, still ends up being a downer ending (Unless you honestly agreed with the Legions methods). The good ending for the NCR is somewhat ambiguous at best.

I was playing female, so according to some of the slaves the Legion soldiers were contemplating raping me, so I killed them all. I vote for Independence.

I personally voted for Independence or Mr. House. Really it isn't much of a choice, in the end YOU want to be the one calling the shots. If you have to choose though who would you choose to support? Mr. House has my vote, the cold brilliant bastard.

You do realize that everything on the Vault is pulled straight from the game, right?

Grizzly, Goth, and probably Ghouly are pro-NCR, if only because they grew up with the Tandi administration. I'm pro-Legion mostly because Caius Drusus was soooo cool.

And I mostly agree with the Legion's points and all.

Ehhh.

Female degradation was never a part of the original Van Buren Legion (just like the Van Graffs never used to anything to do with Energy Weapons). I expect that it was written into the faction profile due to the tribalwoman Hecate and her War Daughters being the only tribe to successfully oppose the Legion, with help from the Viper remnants. :/

I've gone NCR twice and Indy once. Though, technically speaking, I've only gotten the ending slides once since for some reason the game likes to crash about halfway through them...

just play the game and do the quests instead of listening to that ncr biased website

its not the data IN GAME, every faction is pretty even on that its the way the website is pulled up. go to any Legion/NCR quest page...check out how long the Legion's walk through is compared to ncr, then go to bugs. a great example is I Put A Spell on You.

You do have a point. Most of the Legion quests (IE, Caesar's Hire, Caesar's Favor, and Caesar's Foe) are completely broken, and many of the original hopes for Legion quests centered on Vulpes Inculta, who ended up being a pretty poor character.

3. And essentially reverse engineering is china's flaw? Lets take a look at all the knock off electronics they made. China can copy things real good and usually cheaper. Europe is gone, Mexico is gone, everything but china and America was left on Earth before the nukes dropped. China has the ability to make people invisible (something we barely grasped now) but the concept of nuclear fission (an old concept) is impossible for them? Oh please.

Don't take it up with me. China had plenty of oil available to them through their own holdings in the remains of the Middle East. They just wanted security.

His perk sucks. Seriously.

He's also a pretty shallow character, at least in my eyes. Blond hair, blue eyes, sarcastic attitude. Enclave. At least the other Remnants have the whole "old people in power armor" thing going for them.

I guess I'm supposed to like him because he's the obligatory 'gay male' to offset Veronica (who is infinitely better than him, mostly due to her one-liners), but seeing as I would already have been playing a gay male (hence my pro-Legion standpoint, *winkwink*) he just seems... bland.

One thing that bothered me about the Legion is that you never really got to know much about them. Almost every playthrough you'll bump into NCR before the Legion, and there's significantly less quests for them. Maybe I would be more interested in playing their plotline (there one is the only ending I haven't completed) if there was more sidequests.

I wonder if they can fix that with DLC?

The announced "Lonesome Road" DLC should have something to due with more Legion, seeing as the real-world Lonesome Road stretches from Vegas to Washington DC, and the Legion owns most of the Midwest.

I support the NCR and I'll tell you why:

There are three kinds of people: dicks(NCR), pussies(New Vegas) and assholes(Legion). The dicks want to fuck the pussies and the assholes just want to shit on everyone. So the dicks have to fuck the assholes or we'd have all our dicks and pussies covered in shit.

Only been all the way through once, I supported Mr. House... and conceptually, he's right... but he's still kind of a dick. Very vindictive in his unwillingness to work with certain reasonable parties.
Mind you, the NCR isn't that much better, but they do have a greater concentration of reasonable people than any of the other choices.
I guess I'd rather use Yes Man to put the Followers of the Apocalypse in charge, if that were an option... but completing his quest lines has you doing rather dickish, power-mongering things as well.

As for Caesar's Legion... no, just no. Completely disgusting.

I grew up in the Owyn Lyons era, so I don't have any pre-conceived notions about the NCR. First time I ever met 'em was at McCarren.

I have to admit that I did start with 3, but I'm a sucker for good concept art, and Drusus at the Reservation had this kooky comic-book style ENV mask with a faux Arabian headwrap. I was Legion before it was cool!

Talk to the slaves. One of them mentions that the soldiers are thinking about "trying you out." Not sure if they actually attempt anything cause I didn't really give them a chance
