Ok, so I'm doing a new playthrough of Fallout New Vegas, and I have a bunch of mods installed, and was just wondering if there were any others that you guys think might be good.

There was a mod that included all the classic weapons from all the other Fallout games. That one is my personal favorite since it brings back the Pancor Jackhammer.

Do you not have Project Nevada in there? That's a fantastic mod that fixes pretty much everything with the game and is enormously customisable. I also reckon the Willow companion mod is great in adding a companion that does more than just follow you about shooting things and dropping the odd comment and I've heard great things about New Vegas Bounties but never got round to it in my playthrough.

Some of the mods I use:

A World of Pain
Monster Mod
Willow
Project Nevada
Angel Park (now called Angel Park 2)
Mikoto Beauty
DynamiCamera
GARU
Holographic Armor
Cybernetic Implants
Shotgun Commando
Dragonskin Tactical Outfit
Dark Mercenary Gear
Asuka Armor
Plasma Shield (great if you plan on specializing in Science)

New Vegas Bounties and New Vegas Bounties 2.

A lot of work went into those 2 mods and they are, quite possibly, 2 of the best player made quest mods i've seen.

More content in them than most DLC for some games and will keep you going for a few hours.

As said above, Project Nevada is a good one.

The Willow companion is pretty decent. The lass who made it looks to have put quite some time into it. Decent story and questline for it. It's like New Vegas version of Companion Vilja that Oblivion had.

rePopulated Wasteland is one I can't live without. Adds a hell of a lot of NPC's around and a new settlement just to make the place feel more alive. Same for the Casino's, I use Populated Casino's.

New Vegas Restoration. Also a must.

Texture Enhancement. Complete redo of the textures to make them look a hell of a lot better. Can be a drain on your system if you don't use the 4gig NVSE launcher.

And following that the 4gig NVSE launcher. Stops some crashes.

Underground Hideout and Underwater Hideout. Both NavMeshed for companions and have a hell of a lot of storage. Also have a good collection of Mannequins for armour display and weapon walls for all weapons including DLC (Lonesome Road accounted for).

Ok, the reason I probably won't download Project Nevada is just I don't want to spend hours getting stuff to work the way I want it to. I don't care for new companions. The bounties, while an interesting idea, aren't really something I could see myself putting very much effort into. I'm fine with the wasteland as it is, and I don't want to add stuff which is just unnecessary (like NVR seems to me). I don't mind the textures in the game. Monster mod I tried and didn't like because I'm on hardcore/very hard and it made going to the Yangtze Memorial fucking hell. I'm not fond of new hideouts, and I actually did download the Classic Fallout Weapons mod, have yet to use it. As of right now I'm making a merged patch, still, keep the ideas coming!

Underground Hideout and Underwater Hideout are both, just now getting updated again. I've stuck with Underground since FO3, but it is a snazzy and major one you're missing.

Beyond that, I use a bunch of NVSE mods:

Redius Pipboy (NVSE) A PDA pipboy mod

The Mod Configuration Menu (NVSE)
iHud (Immersive Hud) (NVSE)
aHud (Adjustable Hud) (NVSE)
pHud (Primary Needs Hud) (NVSE)

NV Error Corrections - Reduce CTD actually seems to work, it's a quick cleanup .esp

I occasionally use Closer to Fallout - True Threshold

I use the G36C mod set though that can be a bit of a pain to track all the pieces down.

Beyond that, I use some of my own mods religiously, one that restores the weight calculation to the Classic game's formula. I did release one that was aiming to restore the classic armor stats, but found it unsatisfying. And, I use a mod I put out that breaks the Chinese Steath Armor's helmet off, as a separate item.
