New Vegas Save Bug

Yo.
Well, it would seem that my copy of FNV is bugged. Whenever I try to load a save, it says that the save is relying on downloadable content that's no longer available (Oblivion had a similar problem). I really like the game, and the last thing I need after writing a 4-hour paper is my FNV telling me to screw off.

Any suggestions?

Well, if you knew how to fix the Oblivion problem, I'd recommend doing the same thing.
Otherwise, I'm not 100% sure, and if you don't have a backup save file or something, I'm afraid you might be screwed.

Are you trying to load an autosave? If so, try loading a hard save; if that doesn't work, then you have to delete all your saves and start over. Sorry, man. Same thing happened to me, but it was only the autosave.

I got this after completing the Bright Follower sidequest using those toy rockets as a replacement for the radioactive isotope, which is what caused the save problem in my game, if thats what happened then just do the quest without the toys if not... I don't know

I'm pretty sure I had this same problem before, if I'm right, then open the NV launcher click data files, and make sure they are all checked, and possibly load loose files.

First it was only the autosave, but then it spread to the hardsaves as well.

In Oblivion, it was with the DLC's, and this was solved by just reloading the DLC's. But the only downloadable content I have for FNV is the Classic Pack, and I'm not really sure how to reload that.

Have you patched the game yet? I'd do that first if you haven't. Not sure what you can do if the saves aren't backed up.

You could also try re-installing.
