Simple enough, are there any different game modes you like to play?

I got the idea when I was playing Black Ops with my brother. We'd made a goof on the settings so there were only two of us on Nuketown, and we played 'king of the hill' with the upstairs bedrooms. I've never had as much fun on that game as playing a simple 'get me if you can', trying to dislodge him with flash, frags, RCXD, hatchets-all either through the window or with a frontal assault. If you haven't tried it, I really recommend it!

Are there any other unofficial game modes you like to play? Or that you prefer to the actual objectives in games?

Mike Myers on Call of Duty 4 was awesome! God I miss playing that...
Please elaborate! I can take a vague guess what it'd be, but I'd love to give it a go if it's that good!

Many, many unofficial game modes in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach.

Trash Compactor is a long standing favourite of mine... so is Demolition Derby and 'Trap Maps'.

Go Split Screen and join a Party together
so it shud be 2 of you and 2 split screened people
BUT using you feet you have to play on both screens using your feet and your hands
GOOD LUCK

I fought myself in Smash brother once

[Super Smash Bros, Starfox level, Very high item drop rate]

My friend and I would both stand on the opposite sides of the level, we drew an imaginary line in the middle which you couldn't cross, and then we would battle against each other by throwing and using items.

It's best with a large amount of people. It is played in what I believe is old school mode where you can jump very high. One person is alone on a team and everyone else is on the other. Players only have one life and the only person who can kill anyone is the single person but only with the knife. Because of the jump height all the glitches become easy to access and it's hilarious running around and jumping from glitch to glitch.

Nice! I did that one too! I always found it pretty hard to land KO's, which made it all the better, no quick Smash finishes.

Nice! So the idea is everybody sprinting in outright panic, last man standing is the winner? I like it a lot. I'd guess with voice chat on you'd get some pretty hilarious moments!

I still think the Pokemon games should have a dating sim included in them..

You are a lone, single wanderer out on his/hers epic adventure with only some fuzzy animals as friends 99% of the time, so why not have the option to persue a romance with somebody in your hours of need? And I'm not talking just friends here.. I'm talking romance! Hugs n' kisses, flirts and goals ect ect.
I'd be concerned if a guy can really stand that many hours watching cutsie monsters twat eachother with bubbles and shit without feeling the touch of a good woman..

Ah Smash Bros. We played 'Protect the President', with two of us on a team defending a level 1 CPU (or another player, if they were bad enough at the game) from either a level 9 or another player. If the president is knocked off, the defending team lose. Time limits are set as appropriate.

Alternatively, drinking Smash Bros. Each pick a character, set them as level 9 CPUs and let them fight. Every time your character is knocked off, take a shot.

"Jinx Jiiiinx..."

*Shudder*

Anyway! I agree, I'd rather have had some sort of partner system in HGSS than those damn pageants.

I had this game called Rally Masters on PS1. Neer actually played the single player. All I would do is go to a certain level on splitscreen which had a long narrow street, id go at one end, my brother at the other, and we'd slam into each other to see how high we could get. Over the power lines was awesome.

True, most of the time we got KO'd by a random bob-omb or an exploding crate :)

Bag Match.

You don't get points for kills, but for the amount of time you can tea bag someone before they respawn. Not much fun for snipers, however...

Team Bag Match is perfect for a sniper/assaulter combo. Your sniper can take out a target and then your team mates can gather around the kill crouching for points.

We play bag match unofficially when 4 player split screening on Halo.

Timesplitters on the Haunted House. Us four against a max team of zombies, the only weapons being dual shotguns.

Would Prop Hunt in Team Fortress 2 count? It isn't exactly official, but it has it's own servers for it.
Same for Pyro Dodgeball but I can't find any servers for it.

Got, we had some many custom play modes on Perfect Dark, back in the day.
I can barely remember the details, but I recall we had a Slayer-tag game. Where someone was "it" and he had to tag other players with a slayer missile (for those unknown to the game, they fire a missile from a Rpg and you then enter first person view of the missile and control it). If you got tagged and re-spawned you were it, etc.
