Here's an idea from the book The Meaning of Liff I like: Making up new words for situations and things for which there currently is no word, even though one would be good to have. So come on! Make up new words that describe currently nameless things! I'll start:

Mydle: A chore which you don't really mind doing. "Doing the dishes is OK, it's kind of a mydle."

Destrel: A work which, though generally of average quality, does contain a small amount of brilliance. "The novel Vibrator by Mari Akasaka is a destrel."

...Holy balls, some one else has read that book? If I didn't own it, I would begin to believe I had hallucinated it.

Oh, and kudos to anyone who really understands.

Blomkamp (n): To almost waste all your talent doing something meaningless, only to save yourself at the last minute and pull off something astounding.

I was gonna just write a report, but instead I did a live interview of the parties involved, brought them in as guest speakers, and even had a full brass-swing band playing in the corner to provide accentuating music. Totally pulled a blomkamp.
