I did a report on the correlation between Shark attacks and Ice Cream sells, using the same logic that the media does. During summer Ice Cream sells increase as does Shark attacks, therefore Ice cream causes Shark attacks...

So, wait. You can't say that video games are the cause of this simply because the new consoles were released when crime rates went up. You have the check for other factors. Was there some sort of law change that could cause this? A drastic change in another statistic that might have an effect on crime rates?

You have to take a scientific approach. Everything must be the same, but group A would be before next-gen consoles, and group B would be after. However, there is no doubt in my mind that not everything is EXACTLY the same.

Hey its NZ. I live there. Also human beings killing each other. Lets see.... Assassins Creed is R13 there and...
