Co-op would be a lot of fun but, particularly competitive online games tend to frown on modding as it is like cheating. Heck, it is cheating, but if I'm in single player, developers should let me do what I want. The point is to have fun, which, with mods, I had a ton. (Wish single player games had more cheat codes too). At my age, I'm more into the experience than frustration that can come with a hard game.Saelune said:I dont know what you mean by online though. I dont think you need to worry about competitive multiplayer being added ever. I do wish I could just have one co-op partner to adventure with. Just one.Gorfias said:I want that too, as long as it is not onlineSaelune said:Elder Scrolls 6
Forgot about FF15. I haven't really loved FF since X (top 5 of Gen 6 IMHO). I'd be interested in seeing what the end product is like. I may have to get it too.Fox12 said:FF 15
Persona 5!!!!!!!!!!
Nier Automata
FF 7
Kingdom Hearts 3
I see Bloodborne new for $20 a lot. I picked it up. It is hard. I like easy games but people are so positive about this, I have to give it another shot. I'm seeing a lot of love for Persona. May have to pick up the Vita version to try it out sometime. But Zelda? I loved the series up to OOT but not since. I may have to get this one too. It looks good and the Wii U has been, for me, a better experience than the Wii.mardocOz said:1. Persona 5
3. Legend of Zelda - Breath Of The Wild
That's all I have at the moment. I'm sure I'll pick up some others, but they tend to be more of a spur of the moment "I fancy playing this now" or "Oh, I forgot this was out" sort of thing. But these three are on my Day 1 purchase list.
If I can find Bloodborne cheap enough I may pick that up. And maybe Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Bloodborne was crazy hard. Like, way harder then the Souls series. If you don't care about the challenge, then summon someone to help you during boss fights. A good partner can trivialize most fights. It's worth it for the atmosphere and story.Gorfias said:Co-op would be a lot of fun but, particularly competitive online games tend to frown on modding as it is like cheating. Just fyi, the beta runs pretty good. I have a 1070 and everything is on ultra and I'm usually in the 90-120 fps range. I assume game ready drivers will increase or at least stabilize performance as well.Bob_McMillan said:5. Battlefield 1. Now this one's a doozy. This should be number one. I really liked the beta, and was pissed that EA didn't extend it. However, I am planning to invest in either a gaming laptop or a PC in August. If BF1 is a mess on release, and isn't completely fucking loved by everyone, then I will wait till next year to get it on PC. I really don't want to have to pay for another year of PS+ just for one game, especially when they just recently increased the prices.
