I still think they should do the prequel, though.

I'm with you. I played Arkham City with only the Beyond skin. That was awesome. I would love to see an Arkham quality game in the Beyond setting. Although almost every villain is terrible. Inque sucked. The said:Batman: Arkham Beyond. Anybody? No? Just me?
I'm hoping he stays dead but within game they have had several thugs randomly comment on the fact that the Joker has dead before and managed to come back as well as the pit that can resurrect people, it wouldn't be hard to have the joker come back but he probably won't.VoidWanderer said:Do you have any idea how often he has 'died'?GamemasterAnthony said:But...with the Joker DEAD, one of the main draws to the Batman franchise is gone. Who the hell's going to take HIS place? Surely not Harley, she's not even CLOSE to being as batshit insane (no pun intended) as the Joker was!
How do you know Batman didn't carry out the fake one? It's not like he'd have a pulse...
Silver Age Batman would be the Batman of the 50's and 60's. It wouldn't make any sense in the Arkham game series because Silver Age Batman is the same age as current Batman, but it takes place in a way earlier time period. Back when the CCA controlled content in Comic Books with an iron fist. So, it was cheesy, in my opinion. I like the serious modern stuff a whole lot better. The CCA also prevented any content that was definitively adult in nature, no blood, no no mature content, no drugs... it was just very removed from reality.Darks63 said:Sounds good but im wondering who could be the big main villain this time King tut maybe? I'd prefer he stay dead especially since Hamil is unlikely to return for this installment.The_Darkness said:GamemasterAnthony said:But...with the Joker DEAD, one of the main draws to the Batman franchise is gone. It could be via cloning (which was subtly hinted at in the Harley DLC) or via Lazarus Pit, but it's Comic Book World - it can be done.
However... I don't think they will. The franchise needs to spread its wings a bit beyond the Joker/Batman relationship.
I'm eager to see a well thought out Hush/Scarecrow plot, possibly with the Riddler in an even more active role. There are still plenty of good characters to pick up and play with.Don't know what the silver age is so im not sure why that would be bad care to explain?Baresark said:Ugh, I hope it's not the silver age game... that would be retarded.
