For those who don't know what Darkstalkers is, its a fighting game series that Capcom released in the early 90's which featured battling monsters, such as some of the more well known fighters from the game, Morrigan, and Felicia, as well as a testing ground for some of the systems and changes that would later end up in their other fighting games, such as the Street Fighter Alpha series and Marvel vs. Capcom series.
There are a lot of fans of the series, Yoshinori Ono(the head of the Super/Street Fighter 4 team), being one of them. It's one of his pet projects that he really wants to do, even so much that he created some buzz for it at the Capcom panel at Comic-com back in July, along with Street Fighter X Tekken.
Well it turns out he did some talking with one of the Capcom big heads, Keiji Inafune, and he said that it might be coming, but first the fans have to prove that the game won't be a flop. Apparently, Inafune wants a petition for it with...1,000,000 signatures(dang thats a lot x-x).
Atm, there are only 5000, but Ono says that if it keeps getting signed, and enough buzz is built, Next Gen Darkstalkers might become a reality!

So with that being said, is anyone interested in a new Darkstalkers game, or would like to get into the series? If you do like the series, what to you want to be changed if this gets green-lighted? Would you rather have a 3D version, similar to SF4; or an HD version, like SSF2T HD Remix?
And finally, will you sign the petition?
