I like the idea of a board of directors looking down at Kojima from their high chairs. Yelling at him and giving him true hell.

But wait! Kojima brings out his widest grin, cause it is okay. One of his other games sold really well, so it balances out.

Then there is confetti and cake.

And money, lots and lots of money.

I want to get the next two Metal Gear games (Rising and Ground Zeroes). Take the risk, Mr. Kojima as you always have.

Hell, even my friends joked about the years that bypassed in the Metal Gear timeline.

I thought Kojima tried to kill MGS after the fantards threatened him with his life if he didn't direct MGS4?

Please tell me I just got teleported into the bizarro-dimension.

Eh. It kind of sounds like he's pulling a Molyneux on this one. But, what do I know? Maybe it really will be all up in the controversial, hard hitting issues.

This honestly just sounds like he's hyping it up. I highly doubt it will be too mature for them to sell. I mean, this is coming from a guy who gave players the ability to look through a porn magazine in MGS4. I'm not saying that there's no place for humor in games but it kind of kills the whole "our game is so mature" tone when you start using porn as a diversion for you enemies.

I'm pretty sure that he's doing this so that they stop forcing him to make more metal gear solid games.
That was the idea with MGS2, and it didn't work then.
The problem is he went and made MGS3 which was perfection and was fuel to the endless hungering of the MGS fan base.

Onto the topic at hand. Honestly there is little risk outside of getting an AO rating that would prevent sales of a true MGS title (even then AO would still sell quite well IMO). He honestly should go all out and create a full on game that hits the issues hard and doesn't hold back with political correctness be damned. He has the perfect combination of creative freedom and a golden IP to make this happen.
