So lately I've taken to, for some reason or another, calling The Escapist Thescapist.
I know it's lame and pointless but I think it's just the cat's meow and can't stop doing it, and am hoping it catches on. Also the saying "it's the cat's meow". I'm hoping that catches on too.

So Thescapists, (heheh) are there any stupid sayings/catchphrases you repeat incessantly until they catch on? Let's hear em!

I can't remember any of mine... They all failed so hard that I find it easier to just put a mental block on them.

I once mispronounced the word 'ridiculous' as 'ri-donk-ulous' when I was talking with a friend.
We all had a laugh about it, but it caught on and started to mean something so completely absurd the word ridiculous just doesn't cover it.

But yeah, that's the only time that something like that's happened to me (I mean something catching on, not mispronouncing something. That happens too often...)

YOU HAVE SPACEJUMP! (used in any sityuation where there is an obvious easy way to accomplish something but the person doing the task is doing it the hard way.)

I'm not really expecting that any of mine will ever catch on here, but:

- Yoghurt Is Epic!!!
- Raw Human Powah, Biatch.
- BOOYAA.

Haha The cats meow >.< Nice one. I hope hoping one of my phrases (I can't remember what ='(. ) was going to catch on. I'll try and think of it. Who knows, if I post it in here maybe it will get recognized =D

"Curses!" ==> When something goes wrong.
"Curses, my plans were foiled again!" ==> When something goes wrong.
"Curse you!" ==> When someone makes something go wrong.

I started using it sometime after I heard it somewhere. Not sure from where, I remember using it before I heard it being used on According to Jim numerous times. It's not meant to catch on, I just prefer it over 'Fuck'.

For those of you who are Arrested Development fans you cannot beat Tobias Funke's unofficial title

He's an analyst. He's a therapist. He's an Analrapist. Pure genius.

Phrases which have recently entered my routine language include "Cheese It" "Face Plant" "Fail" and of course the Escapists favourite adjective "Compelling" which is the new word for 'Shite'.

Franchisicide- killing of a franchise through repetition/bad sequels.

Futurealistic- Sci Fi that is set a few years in the future and uses better, shinier versions of what we have now.

I have a special way of saying "burn" but I'm the only one at my school who can do it, so it won't catch on. It is popular, though as whenever someone at my school has experianced verbal comeupance then someone else will point at me and tell me to "say it, Joe".

i like saying smooth when some screws up still not sure why though :p
I do that! That's probably the thing I say the most. I got it from my sister, and now I use it a lot.
Example: I was showing my friend how to flick a pen, and he did it completely wrong (It actually went in the exact opposite direction) and I would say - "Smooth"

Hossed.

It means getting a throwing knife kill in MW2, or getting hammered.

"Pfphma?"

At least that's my approximate spelling of an expulsion of sound I make meant to indicate befuddlement. Unfortunately, while it's actually become relatively popular, most people around who try to replicate the sound can't do it for one reason or another.

"Apples!"

It's a swear word used by my best friend and me. :) We find it hillarious. ;)
