My Older brother once got my crappy little band a gig for opening for 'at the drive-in.'

I was at this Bar and all my "friends" were off with their social mixes, i didn't know that they were like that, so i just stood on my own waiting for the time for us to all go home, funnily enough they were paying for me to come even though they ditched me :S
So this girl called Lisa came up to me and was asking me what was wrong and then she told me to get a drink and dance.
I did this and actually left with her and had a good night
Thats the number 1 thing she did but she again did something even nicer.

We were at this party together and she just came up to me and wanted to dance again so we and some others all started dancing then we split off to go back home. I got into bed and she knocked on my door and said to me "I like you but i'm quitting University so i won't see you again for a while" She then handed me a rose and went back to her flat.

I still have that rose

My parents support...until they disowned my choice of girlfriend.

Ouch.
Although this reminds me of my mother sticking up for me. My aunt said she didn't like my boyfriend much and suggested ways of making me get rid of him. My mother told her it was none of her damn business, and that the only person with a right to judge him was me.
She got so many awesome points for that.

My mum hasn't. complete opposite, infact. I'll explain it to you on msn later if you're on. Basically, I'm not happy.
