They call me...Sunderhorn. A friend gave me that epic name in 8th grade when he found out I played WoW. It was his cousin's Tauren Hunter.

What's your Nickname and how did you get it?

Personally, people call me ThatLankyBastard... Why? Because I'm a Lanky Bastard!
Same here. Same reason.
That and "Coxxy" which has stuck with me since secondary school. Because my surname's Cox. Easy.

I'm called Diesel at work, mostly because once I get to work, I'll go all day without stopping until the work is done. I'm a mechanic, and I tend to get to work around 6:15 in the morning more or less every day. I'll be there until 7 or 8 at night, although I'll stay later if there's work there. I can't remember the last time I took a vacation, or a lunch break for that matter.

My name is Zachary, so my nickname is Zach.
Hugely original, I know.

Of course I also go by RatRace123, which on the internet, I prefer.

I think I lucked out. I landed the nickname Filth since my name is Phil.
Prior to that it was Flip instead of Philip.

Edit:

Possibly one of the coolest nicknames I've heard in awhile.

Yup! Occassionally replaced for something more insulting, depending on who/what for. But usually just the good old "Lanky Bastard". :D

It's usually just "Hecatomb", but that was already taken when I joined. Anyway it's an old Greek sacrifice involving the ritually flaying of 100 cattle, after which each man had his fair share. I think I first read about it 9 years ago for some school scription on ancient Greek culture. Really liked the word, started using it since.

Edit: That's my online nickname anyway. I don't really have an offline one.

On the few occasions where people find it necessary to adress me (which is seriously very rarely, else i wouldnt mention it), ive learnt the most efficient solution is to just tell them to call me 'afro' (my large, conspicuous hairstyle).

i used to say 'call me whatever you like' but they always asked why, and explaining to people how names and titles are for their convenience and i could care less what you call me, as long as you can remember it and identify me by it is a bit to complicated an answer. so, i just gave myself an obvious, simply nickname, and have people call me that.

Lin, Canada (given to me by an American), Panzer (because of my obsession with WWII) and Big L.

Lin is part of my first name and people use it when they just want to grab my attention fast.

Canada is because I dared to wear the maple leaf in red and white at IMC.

Panzer is because of my friend watching me watch "Tank Battles" on the History channel when a Riders game was on. (I was keeping tabs on the score to be sure but it was Kursk! I love Kursk!)

Big L is the name my Dad called me for a time because he said I would never stop being a scrawny little shrimp. *looks at gut* Times have changed.

I use Lin personally and its part of my username. I've named most of my RPG protagonists Lin (or Rhylin). I use Panzerlin as my name in war games.

I got two in high school.

One was Cole Train given to me by a few Gears of War fans.

And Emoboy because...well, I am emo you see.

I never really disliked either one of those, though Cole Train got a little annoying. I used Emoboy as my Steam username and I occasionally get called Cole Train by a few people here.

I don't really have a nickname ;_; I had one when I was younger that my family still use now if they want to embarrass me, and my boyfriend calls me all those typical pet names.

My Nickname is Tai. There's a very long story behind it (not really, but i CAN make it long) and my group of friends has given themselves Nicknames for our characters we play in a comic we are making.
