My name is Robert but everyone calls me Bobby, sort of an unwritten rule with that name. My parents have never even called me Robert, it makes me wonder why they didn't just name me Bobby. :/
1. Richee, because there were 5 other Erics in my class but my name was spelled Erich so my teacher decided to transpose the E. It stuck for a few years.
2. Shade. My online handle and my nickname because I'm a sneaky bastard in online games and always customize my character black with red accents(Shadow the hedgehog? But Shade sounds cooler than Shadow).

In middle school, the boys used to call me Slug. It was a running joke from PE, because I was extremely good at ball-hitting sports (cricket, rounders, softball etc) but was the least enthusiastic runner. I once got lapped by my batting partner in a cricket tournament.
In high school, they used to call me Rupert. No one knew why.
My husband calls me Kawaii (meaning cute) and a variety of related nicknames including but not limited to Kawers and Special-Fried-Kawaii.

I have a few nicknames, most of them just adapted from my real name (Em, Emz, etc). But I've had a few others from working, including 'little bits' and 'sugar puffs'.
Little Bits because well, I have little bits and can only really carry little bits (I was working as crew and it was humerous) and Sugar Puffs because I explained to friends if you eat a whole box of sugar puffs your pee smells like sugar puffs. And that was all that needed to be said...
