Nightmares are dreams which means there your mind explaining thing symbolically while working on things in the background. nightmares stem from stress, fear, and life events that were tragic. Don't trust those online dream dictionaries every bodies symbolism in dreams stem from something completely different than what they say. Trust me i've written many papers on dreams, i even diagnose my friends dreams sometimes, along with that i even helped my friend get into a Lucid dream once.

I don't get nightmares at all. And I'm glad I don't, reading some of your posts, they sound terrifying. Shudder. To all of you nightmare sufferers, I hope whatever demons are swirling around your subconscious get the courtesy to leave you alone.

I have a recurring nightmare In which through a series of events, based on greed, deceit, anger, violence, etc., the world is destroyed. Its a very odd dream, and It's always hard to remember.
That's called 'Real Life' buddy :)
So the last 2000-3000-whatever years have just been one very long nightmare? Trippy.

Yes, I've had nightmares. I can sum up the worst one I can remember off the top of my head in six words:
I dreamed I was in ILLBLEED.
Jimmy? Jimmy?! WHERE'S MY JIMMY?!
I just realized I've just watched almost 3 hours of that guy's walkthrough....and now I'm going to bed....uh oh....

My nightmares are all the same,i'm just dreaming a regular dream, then all of a sudden it flashes to me sleeping in my bed(in the dream). Then i get the feeling i'm being watched and i wake up before i see what happens.

If someone has experience in dream meanings,i'd like to know what my nightmare means.

Personally I don't blame you. ILLBLEED is fucking stupid, but supergreatfriend is awesome.

If you bother watching his D let's play, you'll see why.

Dont know what it means but ive been having nightmares about a zombie apocalypse. And im one of the few survivors of course. After forming a team of other surviors, I realize these idiots have made me their leader, which turns out to be far more terrifying than the zombies!
And after finding a safe haven, i try to put the moves on this girl in my team, but than a enemy from another survivor group comes, leading zombies into my safe haven...
Theres an epic fight between the enemy and me, but i never know who wins because i usually wake up around here...

Ever since I taught myself how to control my dreams (and this was years before I first heard of "vivid dreaming"), I rarely allow any nightmare-ish dreams to play out. And most of the time I do let them, I play them out in movie form and place myself in the theater watching them.
