So, after staring at the picture for about twenty seconds, I realized that Ryu is missing a piece of finger. I guess that's making him more human, by allowing him to get battle damage and lose pieces of himself like so many enemies that fell to his Dragon Sword. I don't know.

Even without Itagaki, this game will be badass, and I don't think it will stray too far from the others in the series. Unless they're gonna pull an Other M on Hyabusa.

The next Ninja Gaiden reboot: To include boobs on every character in the series ever, granting them perfect use of the newly improved "jiggle physiX" engine developed specifically for the game.

I see their plan, after destroying Metroid they'll make the main character in Ninja Gaiden a strong willed female hero who doesn't rely on orders to get the job done.

I'm really excited to see them taking the game and working with their own sort of concepts to it. I really love the gameplay, but everything else has always been sort of hit or miss with me.

Fighting other ninja's is always a blast, but fighting soldiers with rocket launchers always felt cheap. Similarly, fighting the purple-looking fiends is pretty satisfying, but fighting them along with the flying bat-like fiends was just a pain, especially while fighting with the camera and the bow and arrows not targeting correctly unless aiming yourself.

Basically, i hope this is their chance to fix everything that has been complained about, perfect the things people love, and make it unfettered by past games so they can let any and all their ideas work out.

I can't wait for NG3... NG 1 and 2 are easily my favourite combat heavy action games out of the various titles released in the genre, though I admit being a bit worried about how TN's games will turn out without many of their old leaders.

Personally, I don't really find myself worried at all about the storyline seeing as how the previous stories weren't really that deeply connected to eachother anyway. The series was in many ways already a Zelda type situation where you have a returning protagonist and a few recurring characters but otherwise not a lot of required continuity. They just need to make sure the gameplay kicks as much ass as it did before, while being as deep and rewarding as it was before.

Yay! More busty ladies and gory death scenes!
Gotta love Ninja Gaiden! I loved Ninja Gaiden:Dragon Sword and Ninja Gaiden 2!

And please make sure the Xbox360 version is better than the PS3 one, being faithful to the original console y'know.

Can I get a new DOA game? It's just that well, it's been 5 years now. Just saying.

Also, Bang Install has ruined me on other Ninjas. You'll have to work hard to win me back, Ryu. Or license Bang Install.

OR, they could make it equal on both consoles. PS3 had more stuff and "shinier" graphics, but 360 had more puzzles and MUCH more gore.

Personally, I want them to go SOMEWHERE with that Kasumi thing. That would certainly keep my attention going. Why else put her in the game like that?

At the risk of sounding like an Itagaki fangirl I think the game is going to suck. Why? Because..well Tomonobu Itagaki was the heart of Team Ninja. Without him at the helm I feel that this game is going to go way,w ay downhill. Now that isn't to say I enjoyed all aspects of his last game (his pervertted fixation on booby phsysics and stupid costumes for the girls) but other than that, I found the games to be fun.

So while I *hope* the game will be fun, I doubt it will be.

Can we get Dead or Alive 6 now? So that we can actually have a balanced fighting game that doesn't require you to be on cocaine to even beat the practice modes?

I'm mean yeah, Ninja Gaiden is cool and all (jiggle physics), but DoA was even more fun, and had even more jiggle physics.

Why are you judging it on looks alone though? Surely, if you're a DMC fan, then you will be happy as long as the core gameplay is similar or better.
That's why I said it....It weeds out the "They changed Dante! I hate this already even though Ive not played it" from the "As long as it plays the same"
You also need to remember the game is set BEFORE the first DMC. So that's before he had his girly white hair and typical JRPG style look. Its meant to be more "down to earth" and "human" in character than wholey unbelievable like the rest of them
Right, sorry if I'm curt with you, but I just spent quite a bit of effort on a lengthy and deep reply which I lost to a browser crash, so I'm not in the best of moods.

Basically, you are the one who is making sweeping and completely unfounded statements. "Best in the series"? Don't make me laugh. I can see however, by your use of the "girly" and "typical JRPG" that you didn't care for the style of the previous games. Thus, we are a different type of fan. You are there for the gameplay. I'm there for the complete package, and how it comes together.

Also, I'm hardly a shallow hater judging merely by the trailer, don't lump me in with that crowd. Look at the signs: Ninja Theory (mediocre developer at best), trolling the fanbase for free publicity (or they're saying they were doing that to cover up for a marketing blunder), and the constant stream of BS that is their press releases and interviews.

Also, your arguments show ignorance of the original lore, just like Ninja Theory. Dante has always had white hair. Dante as a more "believable" or "grounded" character is not the Dante we know and love, it is not Dante. Also, there's plenty of depth to him as written by Kamiya if you pay attention to the backstory and fill in some blanks.

Wait, if they were faithful to the original console, wouldn't the Wii have the best version?
