So, yesterday I went to Gamestop and used their %40 extra on game trade-ins and trade in a bunch of games plus my old DS for a new 3DS and Dead or Alive: Dimensions and Ocarina of Time 3D (and I kept my copy of Megaman Zero Collection and Izuna 2 for the DS). So I'm inclined to ask what you, the Escapist thought so far.

I wasn't terribly impressed at first. I thought it was really just a DS upgrade that made the game blurry if you turned on its main feature, with shorter battery life.

That was, until I got the 3D slider just right, at which point it went from "Meh" to "HOLY SHIT RYU IS GOING TO KICK ME IN THE FACE!" (And then some perverted pleasure at seeing boobs in 3D as well). After finally seeing what the system could do, I have to say...yeah, its pretty good, and I don't see ho Sony is going to beat the 3DS without something major for the Vita.

(Also, Ocarina of Time: still could after the 25th fucking time, all these years later)

yeah, Im liking mine also, the first game I got for it was ghost recon, it looked like ass but it was very good turn based strat gameplay but I didnt really appriciate the 3d until I played street fighter on it, fuck that looked good and was awesome in 3d, fighting games are perfect for 3d since everything takes plays at just the right depth, oot looks good in 3d but since stuff gets closer to the foreground it kinda messes with me sometimes

but yeah, 3ds is good shit

correct the 3DS cartridges while being the same size have a little outward thing near the top keeping them from being used in a regular DS
