You know what'd be REALLY awesome?

All the Mario RPGs on one disc for the Wii. ALL OF THEM.
It doesn't really have to be one disc, does it (if one disc can handle it, then good on them)? I missed out on all of them besides the Paper Mario ones, so that'd be something I'd look forward to. Also, being more Sega in my youth, I also missed out on the main Mario craze, so I really hope this comes out in the States.

I did wonder why they hadn't released SM: All Stars on the virtual console already. If this comes out I'd definitely get it.

Super Mario is only 25 years old, wierd it feels a lot older than that for some reason.
OT: I don't see any reason why they would'nt bring that to the states, its not like they hate money or anything.

thats actually re-release that's worth a look. Its on a short list. Sure most of the sonic compilations were pretty awesome but mario is in a league of his own.

They really need to add Mario 64 and Sunshine to that. I already have that game for SNES.....it just doesn't save anymore....plus I don't know what happened to my copy of Sunshine....

As others have said, I see little use for this. Unless you're crazy about the history of Mario, the fact that they just have SMB All-stars makes this a bit of a waste. If they made it like an ULTIMATE Mario collection and had 1-3, World, Yoshi's Island, 64, and Sunshine all on 1 disc, that would be pretty damn sweet and more fitting for a 25th anniversary package.

Well done Nintendo

25 years of Ctrl+c then Ctrl+V

I hope you're proud. Actually how much money they have made I doubt they care

I will seriously be disappointed if this doesn't appear on the DS. There is no reason for this not to appear on the DS as well.

I have Super Mario All-Stars with Super Mario World on the SNES, in perfect working order. I may buy it for a friend, though, who is not as fortunate.

Mother 3

That is all.
Mother 3 is out, man. Just in a squiggly language. And the mere mention of Shigesato Itoi doing an interview next to a mention of Earthbound/Mother has me all kinds of foaming at the bit. Maybe it will happen one day...

I do believe I have need to change my pants. They appear to have been soaked by that mere thought.

Congratulations to one of the oldest videogame franchises in the world on its silver anniversary!

Oh, and if they release that in the U.S. I will jump on it so fast it won't know what hit it. I know some people that would love to get a copy of my Zelda's Collector's Edition that came with my GCN, and this is almost as awesome.

My sentiments exactly.

So basically its not even a remake of a game, or a collection of games, it's a rerelease of a collection of games...

How many times is nintendo going to spew the same intellectual properties at us? Now they've gotten so lazy they're not even trying to update the games. Yet people still buy them...so jokes on us I guess.
