Sounds like you 2 are trying to pick fights in a passive aggressive manner.
I don't know about the other guy, but I were to try to pick a fight, I'd just cut to the chase and do something like call your screenname pretentious and your avatar generic. I'm just being a prick and calling "inb4" without actually invoking it by name because I don't want to cramp my incredible style with memes.

Like I said, I'm still not a fan of this decision but if there's one thing I believe it's that people on the internet (besides myself, of course) are 100% predicable 100% of the time. For example, in your next post you're going to dare me to try and back up that last statement even though we both know it's clearly hyperbolic and that I'm deliberately being insufferable to try and get a rise out of you, having already proven myself right by means of intentionally-vague, obfuscatory circular logic and inconsequential self-fulfilling prophecies [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InsaneTrollLogic] (with a dash of big words thrown in for good measure) and that I'll eventually win the argument by irritating you to the point where you give up for the sake of your blood pressure.

Either that or you simply won't respond out of an attempt to prove that last paragraph wrong. Now someone bring me more poison, this well isn't going to fill itself.
So... you're last paragraph proves my point about looking for a fight. On the internet no less...

Ah yeah, Survival Panic All The Way!

Whenever this comes out in the USA, I'll buy a card and buy Survival Panic. Based on the Japanese Video, it looks hard as fudge!

I don't know what to say.
All these years, I've thought Nintendo has got a good thing going with no DLC.
But now, my world has been fucked by Mario's golden sun staff of Ra.
$2.50 isn't much, but is only going to go downhill from here.
All I can say is...'Diagnosis? You Suck.'

The prices here actually seem more reasonable than the prices they have going for the Fire Emblem DLC, though Fire Emblem is such a huge game on its own that the DLC is just an over-the-top enhancement of a game that's already huge. However, I feel like NSMB2 could have used these particular stages in the base game, rather than selling them separately. Those survival stages look so fun and I think they would have made the game more interesting to be included from the get-go.

:/

they explained that this was coming before they released the game, and they were evenhanded about how it was going to be optional

if anything it is the players who fail to make these distinctions who are the biggest disappointment in this era where it is most vital to stay informed and reasonable, and partly why the companies do not take them seriously most of the time

Why are people surprised that this exists. It was announced MONTHS ago that paid DLC would exist for this game, containing levels that are not part of the core game.
Short term memory and long term memory have a hard transition.

OT: Personally I'm not quite convinced. Though getting new levels is neat the price seems a little high compared to how much we're getting (unless I misunderstood how much we're getting). I am quite proud of my 20k coin rush record and I'm not sure if i want it to become easy to get 30k. I might get this if it gets released.

Well this was announced months ago, but it still sounds weird. Nintendo DLC. Super Mario Bros DLC. I don't know what to feel about it really.

New Super Duper Mario Brothers 3 Wii U 3DS: We arn't going to hide it, we want more money for doing very little.

Sorry to be cynical, it's just really, a platformer is one of the last places for DLC. Mario specificly. Unless the level designs are COMPLETELY unique and there was no possible way for them to have fit it in by the time the game was out, I could understand.

However, I doubt that is the case. I've slowly began to dislike Nintendo over the years. My Wii has collected dust over the years with even their "good" games like Xenoblade not exactly getting my blood pumping, and Skyward wasn't enjoyable to play.

Call me a Yatzee clone, or what have you. Sometimes I don't agree with what he says. On the basis of Nintendo churning out the same thing every time with Mario Party/Kart 9 or when Super Mario 64 is the litteral number in the franchises line.

Hardly the worst DLC ever (which I still feel goes to Asura's Wrath).
It's simple guilt-free expansion pack DLC like in Fallout: New Vegas and Borderlands. You aren't missing out on anything critical to the main game if you choose not to buy it.
