So... from what I hear there's nothing actually new. Just an image upgrade, everything else is just rearranging what was already there. The option to fight bosses again and items being in different locations doesn't change the fact that there's nothing new in it.

I'm not angry at the game or concept, it's just that I can pretty much guarantee that they're going to charge full new release price for an old game with nothing new (besides graphics) to warrant that price.

This would sound appealing if it wasn't coming out on a system I never plan to own. Pity.

And here I was thinking that maybe Nintendo would actually add the triforce gathering quest that was cut from the original game.

Whatever, it may be a cash cow but I can't stop myself and must help them milk it.

Sounds like it's already a hit. Man I can't wait!
I guess this game might be this year's sleeper hit, and it might have a cult following over time.

How about a bonus cutscene where Link FINALLY gets a kiss from one of the many girls that seem to fall for him--Zelda, Saria, Zula (I think that's her name) or Maron. Seriously, the poor kid does all this work and the closest he ever gets is having jokes made about it. How about an actually kiss for a change?

I will probably end up buying this game before I buy a 3DS.

my hing broke on my ds light two days ago, but I will be freeing up 250 dollars a month soon when I finally pay off my car, so hopefully I can talk my girlfriend into letting me do it.

I've spent a couple years moping about the fact that I never got around to playing Master Quest, now I get the chance! Woo!

Also, this + Devil Survivor Overclocked is 90% of the reason I picked up a 3DS in the first place.

Sooooo....Master Quest is now mirrored? I'm pretty sure it wasn't on the gc disc, and I'm positive it wasn't outside of dungeons.

I'm sorry nintendo, but I'm saving my money for a new computer gaming rig, not your toys-even though they are awesome.

The Nintendo press release also says that Ocarina of Time 3D will include "bite-sized videos" that give hints on how to solve the game's puzzles. This is similar to New Super Mario Bros. [http://www.amazon.com/New-Super-Mario-Bros-Wii-Nintendo/dp/B002BRZ9G0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1303232625&sr=8-2]'s Super Guide, which showed players how to complete levels they were stuck on, and should make the game easier for anyone that needs a helping hand.
Considering I only managed to finish the original via help from a strategy guide I imagine this to be helpful, rather than the nerfing most people will consider it to be.

Seriously now. Do you all remember how difficult the water temple was? It was a son of a ***** if ever there was one.

Why don't they ever release the big-hit stuff as a damn launch title? The launch lineup for the 3DS was rather underwhelming for me, so I've held out on getting one.

Well it's nice to see a boss rush mode. Something that was always lacking was that you couldn't go back and do some of the fantastic bosses again. Here's betting it'll involve going to some mystical seer and reliving them through dreams or something...

This...is a tad ridiculous for me. Sorry but, as good as a game Ocarina of Time is, I'm not going to subscribe to Nintendo's next gimmickbullshit handheld just for the opportunity to dwell in my nostalgia. I bought a DS a few months ago. After looking at all the available options (there are 5 of these things now), I settled on the DS Lite. Because it makes sense as a portable.

Nintendo seems to be aware that it was going to be hard to sell this device to people who already own a better handheld that lasts longer than 3 hours, so they pull crap like this and exclusive up titles that they know people will have a hard time resisting. As a consumer, I can only vote with my wallet, and I can guarantee I wont be voting for the 3DS or any of its games. If I want to play Ocarina of Time, I'll play it on my 13 year old N64.

Besides, I've been to plenty of 3D movies, and never has the experience been enhanced by wearing those glasses.

Those who want Majoras Mask released as well, your best chance for that to happen is to buy this. Better sales will give Nintendo the incentive.

I have a friend who's way into nintendo and legend of zelda games in particular and this....wasn't what he was looking forward to seeing. He wanted some sort of four player functionality like in that one game where link fights with his dopplegangers? I told him that was never going to happen though that would require so much work to actually put that in a pre existing game. turns out I was right. Fighting monsters back to back sounds cool cause that's actually when I'm having fun as it's the only excuse to really use your items for fighting purposes.

Thinking about it. I'm REALLY not surprised. I mean what were most of the ports on the game boy advance like?
