Would have loved if they shared a pic of the landlord, see how much of him was mirrored by our friendly lovelorn plumber.

And on the Same day as the Halo Reach release.... Hmm, is that sad or funny? XD
Irrelevant coincidence really.
Is it? I couldn't help but notice that Nintendo America and Halo:Reach's publisher share the same city. We must dig deeper! To the Funkmobile!

This property should be purchased by Microsoft so they can erect a giant statue of Master Chief ... to send nintendo a message. And kinect should not be involved in any way.

I'd ideally want Sony to purchase it but well the PS3 doesn't really have a mascot. Perhaps they could make a building that lookings like the ps3 standing up!

Clearly as a result of many hours of minigames during his birthday party Mario had jumped over too many of the support beams of the building for it to remain standing.

Is it wrong to hope the new building will be built with a giant game of Tetris?

OT: RIP Mario's home. Lest we forget and all that bollocks X

Why would it be either of those?

OT: Oh well. Best just take Mario out back and shoot him in the head to save him the pain. Then once he's done just a few more rounds to make sure he's really gone.

This is bullshit, they preserve houses where The Beatles grew up etc. They should've kept this place and even redone it into a Museum or something. It should've been considered historically important, Mario was the reason games didn't stay dead. This saddens me.

OT: That's pretty said, though it's really just a building. I could imagine that it could have been refurbished to an "Official Nintendo Museum" or something, could've been cool.

Wow, that's a shame. The story behind the Mario name is very interesting though, who would have thought?

I was up there once visiting a friend at Digipen. It looked like any nondescript sprawling office complex. You wouldn't save it if you saw it.

Where is the new HQ? I can't seem to find out. I hope it's closer. Then again, I don't think it could get further away unless they moved to Alaska or Hawaii.

HQ is still in Redmond, they also have offices I believe in New York and Redwood City, CA.
