OK, sarcasm and genuine hatred for that fat little stereotype aside, Mario 64 was an amazing launch title that really showed off what N64 buyers could look forward to out of the system, so I wonder if something like that is what Nintendo has in mind this time too? If they're saving a few of their creative new tricks with the 3DS for this new title, we can get a preview of what they plan to use it for in the future. That's almost rather exciting, I'll want to hear more about that.

They have Mario Kart 3D and Paper Mario 3D, but no true mario game. Also, they're not launch titles, they're just in the "launch window" which ranges until X-mas.cursedseishi said:

Seriously guys? There are a fuckton of IPs that I care about more than Mario. But suddenly we're all supposed to BOW DOWN whenever we see a fucking tail from arguably the most overhyped game on the planet?
To most of us they're solid games and the return of a beloved power-up has got is in speculation mode.

OT: Oh yeah! That looks awesome! And I do agree with whoever said "More 64, less Galaxy". While I think Galaxy is one of the better Mario games, 64 is by far the best Mario game I've ever played. I would love a return to a "Jump into the painting and get 7-9 stars!" style.
