Alright so i have had my DS for ever and i have never had a extra 200$ laying around to pay for a "WORKING" wireless router. Since to get anything that works you gotta shell out that much.. Anyways so i recently bought a DS wireless USB Device for my PC for my DS and so i installed all the stuff it said it needed. Then i inserted my USB thing then it finishes installing so i go and try one of my games that are WiFi compatable and guess what? Error right off the bat.. I get a communication error. So i figure it has something to do with my router or my Firewall or something so i disabled my Anti Virus my Firewall and i went to the Site for information which they have absolutely 0 for the USB users its all for Wireless Router users. So i figure ill just figure it out myself so i screw reinstall the Firmware or whatever it is you need to install to get the USB thing working then i went to see if it works now. And of course it doesnt.. So i thought it might have something to do with my IP adress so i change it to Static And then wait for my ISP to give me a IP then go try does the same communication error again.. So i change it back to Dynamic.. Then i think hey it might be my USB port so i try the second one on the front of my PC said the same thing.. Then tried the ones in the back... Said the same thing again... So then i reinstalled the software thing again and pluged it into the USB port on front and now the damn USB thing wont even light up! SUCH A WASTE OF 3 HOURS OF MY LIFE! This thing is a total piece of crap!

dude you dont need the usb stick. you just need to go to the advanced settings and manualy put everything in if you use a secure connection like me. either that or you disable your security settings whilst you set up the ds end of things. i really dont know why they even have the connector. you dont even need it. btw which model do you have?

Yes it does.

But the download progress meter with Mario running across the screen and jumping into blocks is FANTASTIC.

I spend most of my time in Wii Shop. Sifting through the massive piles of shit for gems.

my nintendo wifi usb never gave me any problems like that. all i can say is make check turn off virus and firewall software that might be causing the issue.
