Someone mentioned grammar in the articles, and I couldn't stop noticing all the mistakes xD. For the abortion article, she's obviously entirely uneducated on the subject in any significant way. As for the second article, while the writer is a moron at best, the title used to find that article was a bit callus and stereotypical. Armed guards in schools don't promote security when guns can fire hundreds of rounds a minute. If someone gets it into their head to kill their classmates and plans it out, they will succeed to some degree; the only way to affect how much damage they can do is to limit the weapons they have access too. Adding more guns to the mix increases the chances of human casualties, intimidates students, and generally creates fear in a school population (For me cops are scary not because they can give me a ticket for speeding, but because they have a gun that they are well trained to use. Doesn't matter that the gun is suppose to protect me and the officer, it's still scary)
In reality there are very few justifiable reasons that a school should have guns: If the school is an active target for militant or extremist groups(such as the case with the school teaching the president's daughters), students' lives are in danger (such as when southern schools were desegregated in Kentucky), or the region is in a constant state of turmoil and unrest (such as schools in the middle east).
Well that's my two cents into the matter. carry one ladies and gents
