Despite having discarded enough assets to make another game FF13 will not have DLC. I say good that battle of fucking attrition does not need lengthing.

Well, I'm disappointed, as I liked the game.

But still, on the news room yesterday.

I liked the game, but I'm not disappointed by the lack of DLC. I'd rather no DLC than disappointing DLC which felt like it was shoved together just to rake in more money. Though, maybe I'm just pessimistic after Awakening and more recently the Witch Hunt DLC for Dragon Age turned out to be not great.

I didnt like FF1. it was kinda boring.

After a while i got tired of mashing the auto-battle button and started planning the attacks myself.

Ofcourse, it always ended up the exact same way the auto-battle would have used them.

And i didnt really care for the characters. Sure, im probably going to be Sazh for halloween, but thats because id have the cops after me if i ran around nude and bloody like Lynch.

I think 'good'. I wish we'd go back to the expansion pack route. I'm getting a little tired of paying £5 for another hour when a few years ago you'd pay £20 and might get a game as big as the original. You know, an actually substantial amount of content for the money. Thing is, I'm fine with DLC that charges a minimum for a bit more content (I never really objected paying £2 for extra units in Empire) but when it comes to RPGs, DLC is a rocket to the foot. RPGs are deep, immersive, lengthy experiences, and whenever (Bioware, looking at you) someone adds DLC to an RPG game, you get an empty, hollow experience, because it tries to cram a good idea into a tiny, tiny piece of content with no weight to it. So yeah, no DLC. Sounds like a good deal.
