No Escapist on PS3?!

Does anyone know why the only escapist vids that play on my PS3 are Yahtzee's? Iget audio but no video for ALL other videos. It's just wierd people!

lol patience? I waited a whole day for a reply guy. i tried searching it, but you'd be surprised at how specific this problem is. It's just this site, and can only run ZP videos. My 'shit' is plugged in. I know how to turn my PS3 on and connect it to a network, been doing it for a while now thank you very much. I am on a wireless network with a SpeedTouch router and it works just fine. The only problem I have is a lack of any other form of video other than ZP.

Well to be fair he did wait a day, some impatient bastards on here wait maybe 5 minutes.

I do agree, but I live with my girlfriend. She likes the Sims 3. That means my computer is off limits when she's playing (please keep whipped jokes to a comfortable minimum). It'd be nice to watch stuff out of the PS3s browser when I want to surf!

again, this isn't desperate, just a query as to why it happens, so I am aware that computers are capable. My question is more specific as to why ZP plays but nothing else. I assume ZPs videos are played no different than any other video on the site, so why is it they don't work but ZP does?

I'm assuming that the rest of the videos run on flash. Try a youtube or newgrounds video to check. If those don't play try downloading adobe's latest flash player. It doesn't work on the PSP but I haven't tried it on the PS3 yet. If not I have no idea...

Wrong, the videos are encoded differently here than on other sites. The flash used isn't compatible with the browser and so only ZP plays (although I'm not sure about any of the new eps).

All ZP eps play. Flash plays fine, I often watch Newgrounds and Youtube vids. Okay, so videos are encoded differently here compared to OTHER SITES, but I'm not watching ZP on OTHER SITES, I'm watching it here. Does it not make sense to anyone else that I should be able to wach one video library but not the others? It's been a problem since I discovered this site. Used to come here for ZP alone but then checked out the rest of the site and found it highly intriguing and here I am, and I started watching ZP mid last year, but expanded my horizons early this year, haven't been able top play any other vids, ever.

..most likely there's a script of some sort that launches the video, which the ps browser doesn't handle well. ..wish we had a bug- reporting scheme of some sort..
