I'd probably get out of work for the day too since I need the internet to do my job.

Clean house, write, read, yard work, games, music, and if all else fails to entertain, throw a blanket over my head and run around pretending I'm a monster.

I could go (and have gone) months with no internet.

A day is easily survived without internet, what with all the video games, books, and films (DVD/Blu-Ray) that exist.
Hell, I've gone weeks without internet; one day is nothing.
I just pop in whatever game has my fancy at the moment and go for a few hours straight, then stop to eat, then maybe do some work, then get back to gaming. Piece of cake.

Umm. Play games like I normally do. The internet going down for hours is pretty common where I live. I'm pretty sure I could last a day without checking facebook.

A better question would be; "What would you do if the electric was out for a day?"

EDIT: Actually yesterday I didn't use the internet at all. I woke up late, had lunch, played some bass then journeyed down to London to see a gig, then journeyed back and went straight to bed. So thats 10am to 2am. No internet.
