I hope for Konami's sake they'll have the developers behind the port (since I highly doubt Suda51's working on this) add enough content to justify a $60 price tag should they charge for that. Otherwise, they'll be ripping off HD system owners because you can get both NMH1 and NMH2 on Wii for as low as $40 new, and that money will actually go to the original creators instead of just the port team.

This is the type of news I like hearing to make me excited about the Move. Mature rated motion games could thrive on the move!!

Does it work without Move?

I mean, the reason I didn't buy the Wii is the stupid motion control gimmick, so if the PS3 forces you to use Move to play this then I won't be playing it on the playstation either.

Just let me use a damn joystick controller!
No More Heroes is one of the few games where motion controls actually work.

And they work well. It adds to the charm of the game. Especially when you have to "recharge" your sword.
Yeah but I get enough of that kind of exercise daily...<.<

I really don't care, I'm not going to spend money on a motion controller that I don't want.
Practically all of the motion controls used in No More Heroes could be duplicated on the Sixaxis. The game uses them sparingly (which is why they work so well).

As long as I can play it with a normal controller, I'm interested. This was a series I missed on the wii, they seemed to disappear quickly from stores where I live.

I think people are overlooking how awesome this port might be.

Think about it... Move does seem to pull off near-perfect swordplay with Move.

And if you can use Move to control Travis's sword swings, it might the the very first realistic sword-fighting game.

Either way, Move or not, I am excited for this port just like with Mass Effect 2.
This is why people get easily frustrated by "hype." If you expect anything more out of this port than improved graphics (and the already mentioned boss fights, etc.), you are LYING to yourself. Core gameplay will not change at all.

One word sums up my entire opinion on the NMH series, games and the fact that it is coming to PS3.

Awesome!

Tried it out, couldn't stand that it was on the Wii, never bought it. I'll be trying this out. It would be nice if they would change around the driving mechanic. It felt really constrained.

I'd like to know about how their plans on porting the second game. If this is a bundle pack, that would be pretty damn sexy.

Really? Not liking it(the port). But whatever.
Whats the matter with it..?
Think of it like this...When a game like Call of Duty is made for the Wii..people will laugh at it.
But...
If games like No More Heroes,NBA Jam and Tatsunoko vs Capcom are only for the Wii...most people would be like "WTF!? WHY THE WII!?!?!" I want Marvel vs Capcom 3 for the Wii...but it's not gonna happen. Heck..NBA Jam is heading to the Xbox and PS3.
So...then what's the matter with it coming to the PS3? I still don't really understand what you mean.

But I can't wait to play this, I don't have a wii and I missed out on the Mario 25th anniversary wii, even though I was waiting for that...
