As many may have heard, Oprah Winfrey's fairwell show has been aired, leaving many bereaved house wives at a loss. "Who will tell us what to think now?*" Some may ask. My question is, who do you think will rise up an take her place in the world of television?

*I don't mean to say everyone who watched Oprah is a blind follower, or a house wife, I'm just pointing out the immense power she wielded- heck the woman could have held up a book bound in cardboard with nothing but crayon scribbles within and it would have been a best seller overnight. Who will fill up the massive hole in the hearts of television viewers everywhere?

I now have a news show in her time slot.

Just what I needed. ANOTHER hour long news cast. As if the morning, noon, evening, and late night news wasn't enough!

Mid-day news now!

Meh, never really cared about her, but she'll probably pop up somewhere else next time.

I thought she had a new show lined up on her own network already. I don't really care. I never watched her show anyway.

Last I checked, we had the only thing that Oprah would accept as a replacement. Oprah reruns. I actually watched the last show (first episode of Oprah I've watched more than five minutes of in probably eight years) and it was the most preachy thing I've seen or heard in a long time, and I work the church service broadcasts at a southern Indiana country station every other Sunday.

I actually thought that Oprah had already retired. Did she threaten to retire or something before?

Either way, it won't affect me as I live in Britain, nor my friends because they don't watch daytime shows that much.
