Nothing super hard to understand here, but have you ever played a game so hard or for so long that you ended up hurting yourself? (ie. sore wrist, headaches, extreme lack of sleep)

My most recent one, was that I played Street Fighter 4 so much yesterday, trying to finish hard trials, challenges and online matches, that I pretty much had muscle pain(akin after exercise muscle pain) and a sore wrist for all last night and this morning.

The most recent was Mass Effect 2. When I finally got it working (around 11pm on release day), instead of only playing an hour or two as planned since I had work in the morning, I ended up spending the whole night/morning playing, forgetting that I had work later. Yeah... I had to drink like 3 red bulls that day, and I got sick after I got home. Still played Mass Effect though...

and if I may add: Totally worth it.

Most games that I enjoy I sometimes play too long and end up with sore wrists. Though, now I get sore wrists from virtually nothing else, because I resist them.

World of Warcraft binges. They took their toll. Sleep deprivation. My eyes hurt like a *****, I honestly stopped blinking after awhile.

I'm off the stuff now, though. It wasn't the good shit it started out as. It's all deluded and crude, overdone. Sorry, Blizzard. Fail IMHO.

When I play drums on Rock Band, my ankle gets sore. Other than that, I've just had a couple of instances of sore wrists. Also, Guitar Hero on Expert makes my fingers hurt >.< My pinkie once cramped which sucked.

When I was a lot younger....maybe 11, I woke up at like, 6 in the morning skipped breakfast, and went right to playing Halo. I beat The Silent Cartographer, Assault on the Control Room, and 343 Guilty Spark. When I got off of the xbox, having played for longer than I ever had before in one sitting, I had a migraine headache so bad that I threw up until nothing was left to throw up. Then I passed out and slept for 24 hours.

Master Of Orion 2. That game was impossible when I first played it about 6 years ago. I find it easy now but at the beginning I had a really sore wrist for AGES. Damn Antarans...

I suffer from headaches quite frequently anyway so I'll exclude that. I mean, especially when I was younger and spent the majority of my time on video games, I played for hours and hours (I remember playing Final Fantasy VIII for nearly 12 hours straight) my eyes would get blurry, I'd have a headache (a given) and I would just feel so drained it looked like I was suffering from some sort of illness.

My hand ached from holding the Wii remote for so long when playing Resident Evil 4.
