i don't believe Diablo 3 is actually a game at this point, and more Blizzard trolling every one

so at this point, i'd like to close with 'release date or gtfo blizzard'

Its like those guys that play Starcraft JUST for the multiplayer and NEVER touch the campaign... Ugh... They bother me so much >=/
I came here to say that, I don't see the point of starting right away on PvP.

But I don't find any logic in being bothered by what other people like. Let me say that their "hey, let's cut a game in three parts and sell all of them for full price" move made me predict a lot of people would start on the multiplayer.

People that play games just for the multiplayer aspect, and never touch the campaign, annoy me. Especially when that campaign is as amazing as starcraft's

Wait, there was a campaign in SC? Hehe, i am kidding, but in SC II i couldn't force myself to play it, because i alredy knew the story of the game and the missions were a bit boring, so just played PvP. Can't see why that bothers you.

OT: I will wait to see how is the PvP in Diablo 3 before buying it, all the other decisions so far i can understand (some even support), but if they make the PvP gear based (probable due WoW, but not 100% guaranteed), I'll probably skip the game or wait till it is pretty cheap.

just yesterday i was discussing with a friend how game developers tend to release half the game now and wants us to pay for other half again via DLCs and expansions and whatnot. nice way to prove my point blizzard.

P.S. even capcha agrees with me: "for sure"

I was really excited about this game...
Jesus christ this has just taken way too long and now they're pretty much slapping the consumers in the face with DRM and no PVP
I might actually not buy this one, well I won't on the first day it comes out however, I'll most likely wait from some non company reviews.

Great, now release the fucking game already. My hype got lost a long time ago, but I still want to play this game before I die.

Yeah, that kind of how I feel. I was excited for it up until Blizzard North got closed down for not finishing it fast enough, the French really love to buy American game developers and then shut them down.

Oh well, how many people actually are that concerned. Its not like it will be ME3 dlc its just coming out a little bit later than expected. Besides it will give people time to gear up a bit.

Don't fool yourself kids, you WILL buy this on release and you WILL spend hours upon hours clicking your mouse until it explodes.

Why are you lying to yourself?

Also, I love how people react so negatively to everything.
If they had said "We're bringing out a half assed and pretty broken PVP Arena at the same time as the game because we all know none of you can wait" you'd all rage.

They bring it out broken: You rage
They delay it to make it awesome: You rage
They fail to include a silly hat: You rage

Grow up kiddies.
It'll be a cool game, so just enjoy it when it's released.

I was excited for this game. Then I remembered that the expansion for D2 wrapped everything up nicely. And I saw the art style they were taking. And I saw that it required an always on internet connection for single player. And I saw that there was no pause button (Sorry kids, you'll have to bleed out until Daddy can find a safe place to sign out). And saw that they were cutting content to sell it back.

It's their money. I don't think of any reason to only play Starcraft for the singleplayer. In Battlefield's case, it never had a campaign in 1942, Vietnam, BF2, 2142, so I don't see any point in playing the singleplayer (specially with such a crappy campaign).

Just like a lot of singleplayer games don't deserve multiplayer, a lot of MP games don't deserve a campaign. Sadly we don't see a lot of Quake IIIs today.

I can think of Brink, but even that game had a SP with a story, even if it was just an excuse for a botmatch.
