I love the NRAs like this. They's hilarious to watch and matched my thoughts perfectly.
"The Incredibles! Debate that...Oh, thank you guys."

There's so many good ones, but TS3 and the Incredibles were my favorites. I've never jumped from so many emotional extremes in a movie as I did for TS3.

I would have to say Up is my favorite. I saw it accidentally over a holiday when my niece was watching it in the same room as we were playing cards. It was surprisingly awesome.

Although, I am also partial to Cars. I haven't seen it, but my friend has a theory that Cars is the sequel to Maximum Overdrive (zombie apocalypse, but replace the undead with cars). That explains why the cars exist in the same physical world, but there are no humans around.

For me, it would have to be Up, but I haven't seen a Pixar movie I haven't enjoyed on some level... Though keep in mind I never saw Cars 2.

On an unrelated note, where do I get one of those shirts?

Ok YES, every one of Pixar's movies are outstanding (CARS and CARS 2 notwithstanding, lets not get into it) and YES, you guys entertained me with your fair-weather choosing of a new movie to debate and counter with. But if we really think about it, shouldn't this have been WALL-E vs UP?

I think thats a debate where everybody wins.

and Dan, the visual effects of FINDING NEMO may be impressive but what makes Pixar stand above the rest is their great storytelling used in tandem with computer animation visuals.

The top 3 are easy, as are the bottom 2. It's a bit murkier in the middle, but here's my ranking:

1. The Incredibles
2. Up
3. Wall-E
4. Monsters, Inc.
5. Toy Story
6. Toy Story 3
7. Finding Nemo
8. Brave
9. Ratatouille
10. Toy Story 2
11. A Bug's Life
12. Cars

Didn't See Cars 2.

It might not be the best Pixar movie for everyone but for me Wall-E was the best.
The reason being that I am a Pakistani and several of my relatives live in the US or Europe. A lot of people in my country see the several problems in Pakistan and whenever they find the funds and opportunity they move away and a lot of them don't do anything for their country.
To me moving from the Earth to the Axiom and never looking back was like these people moving from Pakistan to the West and never looking back. So these lines really got to me:

Captain: Out there is our home. *HOME*, Auto. And it's in trouble. I can't just sit here and-and-do nothing.
[moves back toward Auto]
Captain: That's all I've ever done! That's all anyone on this blasted ship has ever done. Nothing!

Any immigrants who live in rich countries and are successful there should look at this movie and resolve to do something for their people and improve the condition of their homeland.

The answer is Ratatouille.

And the reason for the answer is UNIVERSAL APPEAL. There is no demographic doesn't find the movie compelling. And there are multiple levels of positive message that work for everyone.

Incredibles and Wall-E and Toy Stories are all great movies. And I would argue the airport chase in TS2 was the best action sequence of any movie ever made. But they aren't movies that you can sit down to with little kids, teenagers, young adults, middle aged people, and old people. They are focused toward young males and while that isn't a bad thing it does prevent them from reaching the pinnacle of craftsmanship that Ratatouille does.

With Ratatouille you can sit 4 generations down to watch together and everyone will enjoy it and "get" it.

The worst pixar movies is much easier. Cars2, Cars, Brave. And Brave makes me sad because it had a lot of potential that wasn't fulfilled.

Is there an Escapist Tekkit server? Call me when there is, I'll join in a heartbeat.

But it really depends on the demographic. Every Pixar movie has a clear message, but not everyone will enjoy every message. For example: The Incredibles' message is about family. The 30 year old bachelor probably won't like it as much at the family of 5. Cars was basically, "Don't be a jerk. Because karma." Wall-E had the old environmentalism crap, and Toy Story had a "choose your own destiny" feel, but what separates those movies from the others is that their themes are not necessarily their message. Their adventures weren't with and end goal of learning something about themselves, but about the adventures themselves. It's a tough choice, but I guess I'd go with toy story, because of that ever-present feel of "I'm right here, but because of circumstances, I can't reach the goal I see before my eyes."

On the other hand, I do also love a story that brings a new and exciting world to life. Then I'd have to go for The Incredibles or Cars. Ughh, ok maybe it isn't as black and white as I thought.

Wow did you really needed to make a video to say that it's impossible/ hard to picked the best Pixar movie ever? Yes the episode is still funny but I can understand that it was hard to picked.

Also Chris, shame on you bailing out on WALL-E (before realising you were all switching it up) like that as it's one of my favourite film!

It should have been Wall-E vs. Up, but at least one of the picks was right.

I think Ratatouille deserved a mention just because it has a message that I think almost anyone can relate with, which is liking to do something that you shouldn't. It isn't just about a rat wanting to cook, it's about doing what you love no matter what others think and the obstacles around it.

Besides Wreck it Ralph is the best Pixar movie, since everyone seems to think that's who made it. Joking aside, yeah I'm with you guys this is way to hard, probably Up or Toy Story 3 just for the emotional roller-coaster they put me on.

I think "Toy Story 3" takes it for me. But "The Incredibles", "Up", and "Monsters Inc" all tie for a close second. I can't stress enough how awesome all of these movies are.

Up and Toy Story 3. Or Wall-E. I can't really decide.

To paraphrase Kill Bill, "If you're gonna compare a [Pixar movie], you compare it to every other [movie] ever made... that wasn't made by [Pixar Studios]"

Up is the best Pixar movie. While Wall-E was relevant to American/Western European consumer culture, and Toy Story is relevant to the leaving behind of childhood, up defines honor. You can show Up to Klingons.

The difference between honor and glory is the crux of the movie. The first explorer was lambasted for lack of proof of his discovery-his going back a never returning in order to stand by his word is honor, his attempts to destroy the protagonists and claim the proof for himself is pursuit of glory. The old man pursuing the house in the far off land by any means necessary including the abandonment of the kid was honor, while his late wife's releasing him of that duty is hers. The kid starts out the movie seeking glory (the merit badge he can display) and learns honor (doing the right thing for its own sake) throughout the course of the film.

For me it's Wall-E, I'm not sure about second place though. Incredibles, Toy Story, Monster Inc. I can't decide. I didn't like Up very much though. The beginning is great but after that, not so great, for a Pixar Movie that is.
