... eh why hasn't anyone mentioned Diehard, if Indiana Jones can miss out 4th film, then Die hard can as well even though 4th die hard film was very good but just not as good as mofofocking Die Hard 3 with a vengeance. Had Samuel L mofo jacksons for peek sakes!
Die Hard 1 awesome, Die Hard 2 - is Die Hard 1 with planes just as awesome, Die Hard 3 - mofofockingly awesome
why? why didnt you say evil dead Trilogy...?
Mainly it's just too painful to
mention evil dead when they are making a remake... WITHOUT BRUCE CAMPBELL WTF!!!
Also 2nd evil dead film was kind of a remake of the 1st but better, funnier and
moar awesome campbellness.

again remake no bruce seriously wtf

Also Best trilogy to throw in is GodFather, also yes I really liked the 3rd film

No mention of the first three x-men movies? Third one bombed, but the first two were still incredible.
You mean the 3 Wolverine films right?

OT: No love for the Nolan Batverse?

Definitely agree on the result. Back to the Future, despite the lessened stakes in the third part, was such a complete trilogy. It flowed brilliantly and left you feeling completely satisfied. You were sad it was over but you didn't feel like you had to see more.

Can kind of see the argument for the Lord of the Rings being one movie rather than a trilogy. I don't agree with it but I see the logic.

Anyone who says LOTR is wrong and I'll tell you why.

When I was younger I saw those movies in theaters and I remember being bored towards then end and wondering why the hell they were so long and wishing they were over.

Back to the Future didn't have that problem, and the good Indiana Jones movies didn't have that problem (never saw Temple of Doom). I recently rewatched the Star Wars trilogy for the first time in several years so they felt like new movies (since I haven't seen them in forever). Even though I knew a lot of the scenes from Star Wars being parodied and referenced to death, I still wasn't bored.

Therefore LOTR is worse than all of those trilogies.
So I'm wrong because YOU didn't like it?

Cool story bro.

This man knows what's up.

Also the fourth movie was so much better than Indiana Jones 4 it's surreal, and it fixed the few problems I did have with 3 (McClain never tangling with the crazy psycho woman). Yeah it's over the top, but the whole series is amazing.

And Die Hard 1 is the best Christmas movie ever. Which should be your next debate.

Other than being set at Christmas, Die Hard has very little to do with the holiday. I think if you really want to get into the Christmas spirit The Ref is a much better holiday movie.

No one has mentioned the Alien trilogy? I know a lot of people look at the third movie as a black mark, but it can just about stand on its own. It has all three acts, plenty of emotional growth, and Aliens that don't leave behind ancient artifact mcguffins.

The last comment in the video notwithstanding (which is total bogus crap, BTW), all three of you are wrong, the correct answer is, in fact, Lord of the Rings. Obviously. I can only conclude none of you argued LotR because you didn't want the video to be over in 3 seconds ("The best trilogy ever is Lord of the Rings", the end).

Maybe you ought to have called this episode "Second Best Trilogy Ever (the Lord Of the Rings being the best, of course)", and then you could have your debate (replacing "Back to the Future" with an actual great trilogy, BttF was okay, but greatest? I think not).

All of you get 0 points this week.

You can't say Lord of the Rings isn't a Trilogy! It was even released in print as a trilogy. And the movies are all great individually, but create a greater 3 act structure that outclasses all of those trilogies (except maybe Star Wars).

Toy story trilogy is best currently because the 4th one only hypothetically exists currently. Lord of the rings is a quantum film series in that it is simultaneously a trilogy and one single film.

I was going to ask why the LoTR wasn't picked!! Would be the longest movie ever if it was just one film...

I think Star Wars (the original trilogy) is by far the best, but, as mentioned, it now has to drag around so much baggage that it is no longer taken seriously. Shame really!

Seriously what the fuck? Temple of Doom was fucking awesome, i agree it was the weakest one of the trilogy, but it was still amazing. And The Return of the Jedi is just as good as Empire strikes back in my opinion. Also seriously, Back to the Future 2 was alot better than the 3rd one. Am i the only one that thinks this?

actually if they're judging everything, chris has to worry about the adventures of young indiana jones. and its hit or miss at times.

Also Im going to say the best trilogy I ever saw was from dusk till dawn.

though you could certainly make a case for the Nolan batmans too.

You did NOT just dis the Saw films Kyle!?! What the fuck? Have you ever actually seen them? They barely fit together do they? They have some of the most intricate, interwoven, intelligent, and dare I say subtle plots of any long running franchise I've ever seen, and considering they're labelled "torture porn", the gore is minimal for modern horror and when it is used, it's used effectively. If you honestly think they don't fit together it's either because you haven't seen them and you're spouting bullshit and hearsay, or you're a damn moron and the plot went right over your head. Don't form opinions above your station, you just wind up confirming your idiocy.
Man, I really can't tell if you're serious.

OT: I wanna go watch BTTF now :[

Good save with the Lord of the Rings comment at the end, but may I suggest another possible trilogy in the 3 Daniel Craig Bond movies?
Quantum of Solace was the Bond series done a la Spunkgargleweewee, just brown boring set pieces and stunts all around a story that was cast to the horizon and focusing on avenging someone who essentially committed suicide for no reason.
